As a Dbs Broly player myself I'm very happy and this made my night good, also lotus i would recommend to use his B or C (yeah ik C assist ik that u hate them) his A assist is horrible to use for combos and for conversions.

I've been using his B assist but with this newest patch and how my team is (21 and Baseku), I think his A assist might be a better overall option. 21 and Baseku have angled blasts that can be SD to cover the sky while his A assist would cover the ground.

B assist is Broly’s best assist imo. I used to use c assist because the frames on b assist just wouldn’t cut it for me but now that his b assist is 30 frames on block i can do trunks flip mix without being punished most times and on hit it gives close to or more than 50 frames to confirm which is crazy. It is angled upwards which serves as a great neutral tool and is much easier to sd confirm then a assist or upward angled beam.

I disagree his A assist is much better for combos because it leaves the enemy close enough to the ground for dr extensions. It’s also pretty useful in neutral and the blockstun is buffed. The B and C are still better tho.

The combos I use on dbs Broly that pretty simplistic are 236h (in air) mid screen, dash into 2L. You can get a side switch if you dash far enough or keep same side and it does good damage into a corner carry. The other one is you can 236h mid air in corner and just jump back in the air and freestyle the combo there. What I do after jumping back into the air is JL, JM, JS, SD, JL, JM, JC, JL, JL, J2H, Js, 236M or H depending on my bar.

People used to play c assist for s broly because it has 32 frames of Blockstun and both the other assists were lower in that regard. Now the a assist has 36 which is extremely high for a full screen move, and the B has 30 frames

DBS Broly didn't get many buffs but he got important ones, he can now zone with his giant ass beam property moves and full screen frame traps (also giant buttons). Also special tag since most specials prop ppl into the air having dbs broly to j236H to convert a random beam or lariet into 3.5K damage into oki is great.
