The hub rebuild also goes to show that these types of jobs can hide damage that isn't apparent without a strip down. Imagine that hub disintegrating at high speed later down the line. So called "easy" rebuilds" are often bodges and some of Sams' projects spring to mind.

Outstanding, I've done a bit of this myself over the years repairing written off cars / damaged repairables from the insurance companies and I have to say its a very gratifying process. I like to be left to get on with doing the work no distractions just the radio playing in the background and a mug of tea here and there and get stuck in stripping off all the old straightening out all the bent stuff and then fitting all the new parts seeing the damage go away and slowly seeing it morph into an extremely tidy car again. I find the whole process very pleasing and fulfilling especially when you get to stand back and appreciate the hell out of your work after giving it a wash a polish and a buff and a coat of wax. You did a great job on her Rich she looks the dogs danglies top notch job buddy ;)
