gonna pop my 2cents in here. (love your Sliders btw) I dont love legend mode for simulation. not that I cant win I absolutely can. but I find it makes the AI too intuitive even the lower ranked wrestlers. Its fine if I want a really challenging game. but hard mode with tweaked AI hits that sweet spot better. thats just me though. nice video!

Also Botch, if you ever want to simulate some sort of rest hold aspect in wwe 2k23 (like we had in 2k19), I usually just do a submission and not even caring or trying to tap them out, but mainly to simulate a sort of a rest hold. I only go for a tap out if its a finisher/sig.

Sometimes they use the resiliency payback to kick out when they don’t have health. Try making sure they do not have that payback when settling up a match.

I have the game on ps4 and its cool to play but i have been searching for a video to help me with the AI selling and staying down after finishing moves. It should never take 3 or more F5 in most matches. Or the AI be in red and still getting up after moves

Not sure I understand exactly what you’re asking.

​@@Botch_TV When I leverage pin the opponent (bot or ai), I expect the opponent to reverse the pin. But that doesn't happen and it just kicks out.

@@m1r4lipd35 there’s nothing really the sliders can do to adjust that I don’t think from what I’ve seen. That’s most likely down to the animations programmed into the game.

If you’re talking about Irish whipping somebody into the ropes don’t hold the Irish whip button because that hammer throws them over the ropes to the outside. Other than that, there’s no other way to stop an in-game mechanic.

sometimes they will if you have resiliency payback on for the AI but if you don't then it's honestly just the game and how it is. I know not what most people want to hear but there's not much you can do about it.

Thank you very much. I think these are going to be very helpful for me. I stopped playing the game due to frustration. After changing the settings based on somebody's, KZbin claims to make the game more realistic which made it extremely difficult and not even fun anymore. I don't need to be playing a 40 minute triple threat. One thing that person did suggest is dropping recovery in the attributes for each superstar to 30. Do you recommend that as well?

Honestly, do what you feel is best. These sliders are just kind of a baseline to get you started. I based them on what I want to achieve for my wrestling universe, so feel free to experiment with any setting, that’s honestly all I can tell you is start with these, experiment as you go, do multiple match types to see how it affects the gameplay, and go from there. Luckily, haven’t had to really change much myself but just keep experimenting. Everybody settings are gonna be different based off of how they want their game to be. I try to create baseline settings for those who want to experiment a little bit and to be able to have more control over their game rather than it being extremely easy or extremely hard but rather, how can I tell a story with my matches, which is the goal of my content so that is why I have the sliders the way that I do.

You would raise the sliders under pin difficulty settings marked AI to make it more difficult. The higher the number, the more difficult it would be.

You can press down on the d-pad to make the AI kick out if you’d like or have resiliency payback on for the AI.

If I made it too tough for myself none of my stories in my universe would play out the way I intend.

Great video man.I enjoyed how you emphasized telling a "story" in a match. I completely agree, I have two sets of ai settings that I have written in a notebook. One for just regular matches/myRise for a challenge. And one for a universe mode for storytelling purposes because like you, I just like to use that mode to relax and allow my stories to play out accordingly. Great video Botch, I do have my own sliders that I enjoy, but I will try yours out. Above all, just here to show my support for your channel.

The reason I emphasize that is because some people will claim the settings are “too easy” when it’s not about making the game harder or easier for yourself since this is manly universe mode purposes. Since I base my stories on my real life in certain aspects I enjoy it a lot more cause it’s an outlet for my mental health and for my audience it is more captivating to watch.
