My Yamaha 2009 FZ-1n $5000 special.

After getting this bike in February 2020 for the price of $5000 I've had a hoot on it. I've done a Woolich Race tune and adjusted the Suspension for my riding style.
The Bike had 53000klms on Purchase and I've added 20000klms of road and three Track days at Morgan Park.
All I've really done is had it serviced, changed the Hoops when needed and ridden it. Hope you enjoy your ride. Wozza.

Too much fun ...I can not wait for track time this spring . Have a fz with all the mods including a quick shifter . You can have guys with significant more invested in their bike looking at my pipe . Something about that makes me smile ....nice vid thanks for sharing

Mate, Love it. It's not the bike so much as the rider. Get your lines right and braking zones, smooth input in the first sessions, it's not a race.. On Track good tires and the right air pressure is a must if you start pushing. Getting your suspension tuned to your weight and style of riding as well. These bike are fun on track, they don't have rider aids and intervention so your the computer. Smooth power delivery exiting the corners will reduce the risk of a highside with good tires and the right tire pressure. Enjoy your Track time on that awesome looking FZ . Cheers.

Yes, definitely leaning more every time I go to the track for a Ride Day. Not sure on your experience level Paul. Going harder Normally means going wide or off the track, the same for braking later. Accelerate too early through a corner and risk a highside. I think the next thing to do is a California Riding School coarse. My best time at Morgan Park is 1mim, 31sec, I'm still pretty happy with that on a road bike with no rider ads, ridden to the track and home on street tyres. I would say to anyone that wants to learn to ride better, Do a Ride Day for yourself, at your level of experience and if you really enjoy the track, get a track focused bike Either way, it's alot of fun.
