I'd say build 2 is slightly better just for being closer to the 1:2 crit ratio and having slightly more CV, unless you are having ER problems in which case build 1.

Just use the optimizer lol. But from the looks of it both of them have similar c.v. but build 2 is closer to the 1:2 ratio and has better HP HP (and def on def chars) is honestly underrated on HP scalers, it scales much better than atk or em so i would be surprised if build 1 is better

The 1:2 ratio isn’t what you should be using for overall stats. You should use crit rate * (1 + crit damage)

The formula you’re using overvalues crit rate since it assumes you do no damage if you don’t crit. The better formula would be CR * (1+CD) + (1-CR), and this one, given the same total CV, is maximized by the 1:2 ratio

@@abdullahalmasri612 They don't know what they're talking about. The formula there is assuming that damage is 0 when there's no crit. You can easily calculate the average multiplier you get from crit like this: cr * (1 + cd) + (1 - cr) * 1 = (cr + cr * cd) + 1 - cr = 1 + cr * cd So, 1 + cr * cd is actual the formula for crit multiplier, which is maximized when you have a 1:2 ratio, since crit rate rolls are half as large as crit damage rolls. It's been 3 years, idk how people get the basic math wrong.

Build 2 imo, less crit damage sure but more crit rate so you crit more frequently and therefore in the long run do more damage I think. You might not have as juicy of a crit number but it is more consistent

73.4 - 57.9 = 15.5 crit dmg vs 9.4 - 1.2 = 8.2 crit rate 8.2 crit rate * 2 = 16.4 crit value 16.4 crit value vs 15.5 crit dmg (crit value) crit is higher on 2nd build not 1st however the energy recharge might be enough to justify the first build even if there is more crit on the second build just because the ER% isnt 200% yet but c1 and a double hydro comp (with xingqiu or even furina) can justify the 2nd build very easily since ER% isnt as important with more sources of energy available, so the 2nd build leads ahead with its higher crit value and slight HP improvement leading to an increase in dmg overall

Honestly, in situations where two builds are roughly equivalent in crit value and it's not a set like blizzard strayer/marechaussee, I will generally go for the build with the most crit rate. Besides, build 1 will also lower your HP so... if you can make do with 160 ER I think build #2 is just stronger overall
