People probably won't read all this.. but it sucks for me because I used to have bulimia, and it ruined the enamel on my teeth. And I can't use even the most sensitive stuff i can only brush my teeth like once a day and when i do I'm terrified I'll brush the wrong part and it'll hurt . So mine aren't the whitest either and i can't do anything about it so please don't make fun of people who have yellowish teeth because you don't know their story.

I'm not sure if this is helpful, but a lot of companies sell toothbrushes that are SUPER soft because they're meant to be used after oral surgery. They get even softer if you wet them with /hot/ water. Hopefully, that might make things a little more comfortable for you? :)

You are a natural pale freckled red head right? It's BEEN PROVEN that red heads have less layers on their teeth or something. We have less protection and our teeth are often slightly yellower than average people. This has something to do with the same gene responsible for our red hair and pale skin. (I did a study for this in college but I forget the name of the specific Gene) I am a natural red head and I have had dentists and doctors who have told me the same thing. Our teeth are also more naturally sensitive! I was told that it could be dangerous to use teeth whitening products on my teeth, and you may have the same situation (like many other red heads) so please be careful with that! Your teeth are gorgeous the way they are do not let people talk you down! :)

Don't worry about your yellow teeth. Out bones are a natural light brown/yellowish color. If you whiten them, they get weaker. Brushing and flossing will suffice and be proud of your strong yellow teeth 😀👍

i work with bone, and can attest to the fact that natural bone is not white. bone that is live or recently deceased is a off white creamy color much like raw whole milk. untreated natural bone that is cleaned and dried is also a off white color, and yes sometimes brown :) i LOVE the color of natural bone, but sadly with the consumer market labeling everything yellowed as "dirty", i must whiten the bones that i harvest to use in jewellery making. fortunately right now there is a craze with tea staining bones, so hopefully natural bone will be popular as well with time.

Baking soda, peroxide and toothpaste. Mix until it becomes a paste. Leave it on your teeth for 2-5 minutes and BOOM whiter teeth! I do this every couple months and it's not as harsh as getting it professionally done so you can do it a bit more often and it won't hurt your teeth as much and it works!

Baking soda is fine, and is a commonly used ingredient in lots of tooth pastes. If you'd like to whiten your teeth I suggest talking to your dentist - they might be able to whiten your teeth at the clinic in a less harsh way (depending on where in the world you are, however, this may be pretty expensive.) I've heard that some commercially available whitening products give good results, though, again, talk with a dentist to see if your teeth are ready!

Yeah I used the Crest 3D whitening strips about 2 years ago and it REALLY worked. Prior to using it my teeth were a bit yellow, and they had like "freckles" of whiter areas so it looked even yellower. I think it said it would only last a year but mine are still white. If anyone's interested, a good thing to try is baking soda and lemon juice. The only concern is depreciation of enamel, BUT if you don't over use it and use pro-enamel mouth wash or products, which aren't expensive or hard to find you should be fine and there's no weird chemicals.

You know I've had the cement stuck to my teeth since my braces came off and I can't get it off I've tried everything I'm like you I'm scared of the whitening chemicals stuff . I've been told the need to grind my teeth to remove it and that scares me . I don't know who your doctor was but a long time ago when I had braces after they removed them the Otho brushed this clear stuff on my teeth. Waited 15 min and then brushed my teeth with regular tooth paste. Came right off.

Happened to me too. I recently went to the dentist (a different one than the ortho I went to) and he took the cement right off. My teeth look WAY whiter w/o the old cement in the way. He had to grind it off but I promise you it didn't hurt at all and it was super quick (>5min)

you can do the same thing with a tablespoon of baking soda, white viniger, and if i remember a small bit of water and mix into a paste. brush for two minutes, only once a week. i desided to over do it and also ended up bleaching my gums, to fix this i ran warm water over my gums for a few minutes while i rubbed them. (excuse my spelling)

I would recommend crest whitening strips. They are little sticky strips that u wear daily and then u can switch to monthly strips after 1 month. Very easy to use and not a ton of diff tubes. I didn't see much of a one time result from ur kit. I saw results after 2-3 days with crest

Honestly who cares about the color of anyone's teeth? Having white teeth doesn't mean they are healthy, and having yellow teeth doesn't mean they are dirty. Me and my older brother have stained teeth because of the water we drank as kids, it had minerals so it stained our teeth yellow, and let me tell you that i have tried countless whitening methods and none have worked, but I don't care. The color of my teeth, or anyone's teeth for that matter, is the least of my problems. My teeth are healthy and clean, and yet the only thing someone people care about or notice about me, are my teeth. This vain society is sickening, and i want everyone who doesn't have perfect, sparkling white teeth to know that you're perfect just the way you are, embrace your teeth and don't compare yourself with others, because we're all unique.

I have naturally very yellow teeth as well, and my skin is painfully pale which obviously makes them look even more yellow in contrast. I've been looking into different methods of whitening but chemicals in my mouth don't seem very appealing to me. However, this seems very doable and even nice. Perhaps I'll try this kit one day.

Lil tip. Drinking coffee/tea with lots if cream or milk helps prevent staining. If you drink black coffee or dark teas it stains more (coffee and tea are used a lot for natural dying so it's kind of to be expected). I also find whitening things make my teeth hurt especially the toothpaste so I think the only reason I don't have really crazy yellow teeth dispite how much coffee I drink is cus I add a lot of creamer

I feel so protective over you when you talk about your teeth because we look kind of similar in that I've never seen anyone else with eyes as big as mine and I love the way you play up how big they are I'm sure I've copied some of your eye makeup looks before. You remind me of Helena Bonham Carter when she was in Sweeney Todd with Johnny Depp. Your teeth are fine when anyone is super pale that they're nearly translucent like us it makes your teeth look yellow in comparison but certain lipsticks with bluish undertones can make them look whiter, I always wear dark lipstick but unlike you I did a lot of drugs in my youth and one of them is a painkiller called fentanyl and a side affect it had back when I was addicted to it was it weakened the enamel of my teeth so by the time I was in rehab when I was 24 I noticed they kept falling out or a piece of a tooth would just crack if I bit into an apple. The enamel was so thin that my dentist told me I could either get veneers or wait until they fell out and get dentures and I knew really young girls who had to wear dentures so I got the veneers. I had to get the bottom ones bonded and they look kind of News Anchor-y white but since I'm pale they match up well. I really wanted to get my canines filed into points and capped with gold but I couldn't afford that and it would've rendered me jobless so I settled on getting the canines filed into very slightly noticeable points and got a diamond implanted on both canines instead. I think America has an odd obsession with teeth so white they blind people and I got my teeth "zoom whitened" when I was 21 and it was so painful I cried. I hope you embrace and love your teeth because I think you're the total package.

Your teeth are totally fine. I'm super fair skinned and my sister is extremely tan, her teeth look really white compared to mine but if you look closely we have the same shade of yellow in our teeth. Mine is probably somewhat worse being I smoked for awhile but thankfully quit. Anyways my point is skin color can make a HUGE difference. And your teeth are nothing to worry about. :)

I know this video is a year old, but for healthy and safe whitening I use charcoal toothpaste. Charcoal absorbs 200x it’s weight in filth (aka the staining) and after a couple of months your teeth will be around 3-5 shades whiter. Not a huge difference, but it’s safe and leaves your teeth looking whiter, but still a natural white. Coconut oil also helps. Edit: also, the toothpaste is black. Which I thought you might like.
