- minimum soil disturbance - to break hardpan and conserve soil moisture
- Crop residue retention
- Manure application
Her maize managed to withstand a very long dry spell - His neighbour's crop succumbed to drought and suffered 100% loss
His yields will tipple despite the drought - to him, that is the definition of resilience.
He expects 60 (90kg bags) from his 2.5-acre piece of land up from the 16 bags.
