Bike fit, comfort, and threshold for harshness are very personal and subjective. Yoeleo markets the R12 as an all-around frame rather than a super stiff crit or lightweight climbing bike. From this perspective, I suspect the R12 will become the best frame I've tested in that regard for the price.

I echo your impressions of the ride feel. My overwhelming impression was that it was like the SR71 Blackbird: screaming fast and stable at high speeds, and just rewards you for consistent high power cruising. (Didn't hurt that mine is all matte black too 😂)

While Yoeleo isn't competing with cheap $600 frames, it's worthy to note the level of "refinement" you can actually feel with the R12. It reminds me of both my old Trek Emonda S5 and Yoeleo R6. People ask me if it's "worth" spending more money for Yoeleo versus the cheaper options and I say yes. Sure the cheaper brands can make a super stiff bike, however they aren't exactly engineering the frame in the areas where comfort and handling are important.

I have the same bike “ just like you, I ride a long reach cockpit and low stack -17/130 slammed stem right on top of the bearing cover, and saddle all the way back. I have my bike posted on Yoeleo’s website under Chuck J. IT’s built up with Dura Ace 9100 11 speed mechanical shifting, and mechanical disk TRP SLC Carbon brake calipers, and Prime 50mm disk wheels. Mine is a 52cm,” I’ve been riding it for about 2 months and this bike is awesome, I have nothing negative to say about it, it’s just an awesome bike” one of the best bikes I’ve ever had.

@@PatrickLino If ya slide the saddle back yull get the reach and also yull use the quads more effectively,” however when sliding the saddle back yull have to lower the seat height just a tad to compensate for the added reach, but trust me it’s way more comfortable than riding in an over the front wheel style like riders ride today.

I love my R12 too. I put Ultegra Di2 on it (11 sp) and also Elite Carbon 50D wheels that have carbon spokes. Very comfortable, even with carbon spokes. I like the slightly relaxed geometry. Not an endurance bike but not overly aggressive either. For me that is better. Another KZbinr called it "lush and zoomy". A good description. Also the most confidence-inducing bike I've ever ridden on descents. Mine is a different color (2023 model) but the paint job is amazing. I also got it with the Yoeleo integrated cockpit. I love it. Also a West Bike 3D printed saddle.

@@PatrickLino I've had an issue with my seat post. It creaks. There is no doubt that this is the source of the creek. I've tried all of the standard remedies, so I contacted them and they suggested that I should cut it to a shorter length. My local bike shop did that for me and we reapplied the carbon fiber grip. Everything is torqued to spec. It made things a bit better but it has not completely solved problem and it is driving me crazy. I actually contacted them and told them I would be willing to BUY a new seat post. They said no, they would send me a new one and we went back and forth a bit on an appropriate length. They said that they would ship one of that length to me about 2 weeks ago but I have not received a tracking number (I've asked twice now without results). and in general every time I try to communicate with them it is several days before I get a reply. When I communicated about BUYING the bike, though, they always responded the same day. Except for this issue it's a great bike. This is in marked contrast with my experience with ICAN, for example (another Chinese company).

Niiiiiice....so you did go with the shimano di2 ultegra..smart man..I own both Sram red and shimano di2 ultegra..i find shimano more reliable(bomb proof), faster, sleeker looking and I just love traditional shifting..I find ultegra di2 better made than my sram red..idk I might be bias...lol😅😅

Very nice build and bike, do you know what's the seatpost setback/offset or has it no offset? I am thinking to buy a r12 but have long upper legs and inseam of 90cm (188cm), so i am in doubt 56 or 59.

Seatpost has a setback, and also the saddle clamp has the ability to move fore/aft without needing to adjust the actual saddle itself. I’m 183mm tall with long arms. I imagine the 59 would work, but the easiest thing to do is compare geometry to your current frame.

What width tyres can this take? Im looking at a Canyon Endurance, and wondering if this would be a better (and cheaper) alternative if the forks can take wide enough tyres.

32c tires (with 23mm internal wheel) fit with plenty of room to spare. I reckon you could fit 35c (measured at the tire) if using on dry roads.

Can I use another stem? The longest stem Yoeleo offers is 120mm. I need a 130mm one. (Maybe I can get a handlebar with an extra long reach like you) I prefer Elite Drive wheels. They are significantly lighter. I'm going to get the frame instead of the complete bike. Where did you get the matching water bottles?

Yes you can run your own stem. However you will need to purchase an (Full Speed Ahead) FSA no.69 headset system which allows you to run the cables internally. Should only cost around $25 USD. I use this same setup on few other bikes where I need 130mm stem.
