Great video @Jourdain You are fortunate or Yoeleo is upping their game. I bought the last gen R11 frame 2 years ago. Rim brake version. I did not get a manual, or cable dampening or proper pre routed cable guides, or well sorted extra parts and pieces. It was more like pot luck haha! But they have also raised their prices up, By over $300 dollars. I do noticed they fixed a few annoyances from the old frame set, but one they did not and your bike has it too is the aluminum sleeve in the handlebars. On mine, the headset would work its self loose endlessly, after several months of this going on, I used carbon paste on the steer tube. That has worked well. I did not see you guys do that so maybe yours will work out, but just a heads up. Looking forward to the next video.

Thanks for the message. It sounds like many of these companies... they improve as they go and improve over time. The first release is basically a test. Similar to many of the groupsets. Hopefully your bike is still going strong!! 👍🏼

Now was it worth it? I preordered my Giant propel pro 0 (12sp ultegra di2) for 4500€. And i bet that if you used 12sp ultegra, you would end up with the same price. So my takeaway for you is to be aware of preordering at the end of the season, it might be the more sensible option, also it has all of the warranties!

You do get a good deal when you buy the whole bike together 👌🏼

It doesn't make sense to have the same size rotors front and rear when you get so much more stopping power from the front wheel. You're just making it more likely that you'll lock up the back wheel if you apply both brakes in an emergency. That's why you'll never find a motorbike with a rear rotor anything like the same size as the front.

Got the same thinking on my bike since I have motorbike background. Nonetheless I let 160/160 on my wife's bike cause she brake a lot on downhill (fear mostly) and I'm afraid the 140 couldn't handle such unfriendly braking skill 😂. But I'm definitely agree with you for the vast majority of non noobs cyclist 😅

Yeah, it's a lot of hassle to replace the cables for sure. They are better suited to wireless groupsets. But then the costs is crazy.

just put a spacer below the stem cover when compressing the steerer bearings, at least that is what I do if I miss the length when cutting the fork and end up being 1mm too long. also do not remove the plastic hoses that come within the handlebar, just connect your magnetic tool and pull it through, then connect that to the braking hose and it will go through easy - I had no hassle with this.

Maybe try a carbon compound instead of grease for your carbon seatposts.
