We should use soap nuts you can make shampoo, laundry detergent, floor cleaner and body wash.. You can gtow them in USA or just buy only from indian grocery store

Hey sabs! I also became vegetarian in 2014 and vegan in 2015 :) wish i could go to NYC and try all these amazing foods that you guys have but right now i don't have the money to do it. I live in the in the middle of the Amazon forest, in a city called Manaus :p oh, and I'm not zero waste yet

Yay that's awesome! Going veg is a huge step towards lowering your carbon footprint, so good on you for starting there

Just subscribed.. I'm trying to reduce waste too so I definitely look forward to learning more examples! It must be really nice to have a roommate who's on the same page.. I'm going to be looking for a roommate soon, so that might be something I want to mention when I start posting about it (as if finding a good roommate isn't already hard enough, lol).
