How did you adjust your pilot screw for adjustment when put back in after cleaning your pilot screw adjustment with the float bowl on any help would be appreciated ie turns

So I started this process yesterday but unfortunately came to a haul due to a screw being very stripped. This is my first time doing this job and I’m also still learning about bikes. When I took the air filter off and the inlet plastics they were all filled with gas and carb. Any ideas why gas would be making to even through the air filter? What should I do?

Have a zx6r f3 model 1997 looked at your video with trying your test,spraying water on the downpipes as bikes running rough.found that no 1 pipe was only Luke warm where as the rest were hot.changed coils/spark plugs/cleaned the carbs out still runs like a bag of crap.I have noticed petrol running out of where the needle goes down to the jet,could it be that is a carb problem or a valve stuck or worn,running out of ideas now any help would be appreciated. GO ON THE BEMSEE RACERS WEB SITE AND ASK ABOUT, SOMEONE WILL LEND YOU A SET I'M SURE, MILEAGE? IF HIGH AND NOT WELL MAINTAINED DOES EXHAUST VALVE NO LONGER HAVE CORRECT GAP? (CLOSED UP AND POOR SEAL...) Im doing this exact job now. The bike has also been stood. I found the sliding doors were stuck shut so I took the tops off the carb as they were accessible with ease but I couldn't even SEE how the carbs were secured. Could you tell me how you removed the carbs? I don't see any securing bolts so it must be something else? I need to get access to the jets, as you correctly identify to be a likely cause but I cant see hoe they are secured on at all. My hayabusa isn't his difficult to work on!!! lol

the carb assembly is secured by a screw on the rubber boot located at the bottom of each carb. You need to take the air intake of the chassis and peek through the round hole where you took off the air intake boots to see the screws.

Have those same carbs on my bike. Can't find the kit for it anywhere. No part number on the carbs themselves only the brand which is mikuni. Any help? 😁

Iconic Riderz because you have drained the carbs and require priming by the fuel pump until fuel is up to level and atomised fuel can flow through emulsion tube/ needle jet interface, next start up should be quicker...
