Just curious why you formula feed if you have plenty of breast milk? I’ve never heard it being ok to use tap water for a baby! Is this new? I’d be so scared lol I’ve never trusted tap water for any of us! No judgment btw. Just curious

Things have changed so much from when I had mine (years ago) lol. It was all about steralising bottles with 'Milton' solution, boiled water only.....and not forgetting the terry towelling nappies we had to soak in 'Napisan' before we washed them! Glad things have moved on....beautiful video by the way x

Just a tip that might help....those little formula bowls you throw in the diaper bag i always pre measures formula and put beside the bed at night wkth the bottles with water so u dont havw to measure and scoop at night. Just a tip!

I am so happy to see that you use tap water and bring the powder up! i am going to be a new First time mum in two months and all the stuff you read about it having to be warm, not in anyway pre made, sterilised water! this makes me happy as its so much easier! It doesnt need to be warm does it? I have no clue haha! xox

A bottle warmer is handy, babies like warm milk easier on their little belly's.. sorry I do the best for my little one!

Sink water for a newborn? Our water gets contaminated sometimes and they tell you not to use it. I would be super paranoid about that. Why don’t you boil water and put it in a gallon container and use it for 24 hours? I would just go with baby water at the store it’s like $1. I am breastfeeding and supplementing with my breastmilk, but I do sterilize bottles every night. Maybe I am just a paranoid mom, this is my third baby and he is 3 months old. I use to sterilize every bottle every single time until he was 6 weeks old now I do once a day. I know it is a lot of work the more kids you have, but just be careful with unwanted bacteria that could cause tummy issues and cramping for babies. It’s not easy having a newborn baby with other little kids in the home, I am exhausted a lot too.

Depends on where you live but most tap water has acceptable ranges of fluoride. I use it with all of my kids and drink it myself

I wish my hospital provided a free swaddle lol. You get a standard receiving blanket. Anything like that we have to bring :-) so nice of your hospital. We get diapers and formula, so I'll take it. 3 weeks until we welcome our newest addition. So excited but nervous to have baby in the house again. Lol
