If you enjoy non US artists, try Miniyu and Mameun, both from Korea, and Mandarin Whispers. Also Indian Girl (that’s the name of her channel) and Nefertiti. They do ‘regular’ videos and also cultural themed ones.

@@PallasAthene12 I'm actually gonna check these out. I'm always open to different ASMR artist channels. The only ones I don't like too much are the ones with too many mouth sounds, like Latte. I remain subbed to her channel though because I love her themes.

@@jocastillo3533 Same. I actually went off Latte for this reason. Despite her excellent production and aesthetics, now it's just overloaded with mouth sounds. She never used to do it in her earlier videos. So all those recs have very few mouth sounds. If you enjoy Japanese language, then Mariko ASMR is a really nice too. She does role plays. Not all are subbed but they're still super relaxing because she has a really calming and gentle manner.

I believe she’s referring to the rise of K-pop, K-beauty, Korean dramas and shows on Netflix, etc. Most North Americans pay little attention to other countries and it’s not right. K-pop has always been huge in South Korea; it’s now getting American attention.

It’s so interesting learning about different cultures, whether they’re part of my own heritage or not. There’s something so beautiful about all of them, and ASMR videos like this are always among some of my favorites for that reason. It almost seems like the makeup in this video is better for one’s skin than most modern products out there but of course I’m not a dermatologist so.. either way, lovely video, so glad I stumbled across it.

I like history and I like ASMR, so a historical makeup roleplay ASMR is right up my alley! It’s fascinating seeing how different cultures invented different things, and seeing how it evolved into our modern equivalent. Randomly fun fact: every culture that invented makeup (and nearly all of them did) invented red lip coloring. Red lips are a universally praised look.

The layered sounds and added sounds of the different makeup applications is perfectly synced and every motion makes exactly the right sound in exactly the right direction in exactly the right ear and it is so impressive. I don’t know any other asmrtist that pays that much attention to detail to get all of the added sounds exactly right, and your videos are so much more enjoyable for that fact and so many others. If I wasn’t paying so much attention to thinking about how the video was made It would be impossible to tell what sounds were added afterwards.

This video is beyond amazing! The fan was so beautiful and the sound was so calming like distant rolling thunder. I also thought the makeup holders/containers were so beautiful too, especially since my favorite color is green! It was really cool to see how all of the old makeup was made and applied back then. I hope to visit there someday and see all these beautiful things in person🥰💚
