Myanmar PM in Pyapon Township of Ayeyawady

Prime Minister General Thein Sein, accompanied by Maj-Gen Ko Ko of the Ministry of Defence, ministers, deputy ministers and officials, left Yangon for Pyapon Township of Ayeyawady Division on Monday. The Prime Minister and party proceeded to Jo War Wa Model Village of Jo War-KyaukYe' village-tract by a vessel. Minister Maj-Gen Soe Naing conducted them around the village where they looked into renovation of roads, systematic reconstruction of houses, completed construction of fly-proof latrines, arrangements being provided to obtain safe drinking water and development of the village. The Prime Minister and party next inspected the Satellite Communications Station opened at the village and instructed to the needs. They then went to the basic primary school of the village, and inspected the health care center opened by Grand Lotus Travel at the school and greeted the doctors. The Prime Minister also asked after the patients. Chairman of Myanma Fisheries Federation U Htay Myint explained about the programmes to donate fishing nets and equipment for the village. They later looked into the seeds donated by Myanma Fruits and vegetables Developers Association. Minister Maj-Gen Soe Naing and officials then reported on providing necessary equipment for livelihood of the locals, and samples of rice, fruits and vegetables produced at the village.
