Great video as always Jason! Tell your wife she does an absolutely incredible job with the camera. Not all people have that gift, but she certainly does! You also did a bang up job with the drone! I’ve learned so much from you, and want you to know how helpful you’ve been in giving me ideas when I move out to Kanab Utah next year. As always, thanks for sharing...👍🏻😉

Hey Jason! I love watching all of your videos- you both do such a great job filming, narrating and editing. Are your Maverick Trail annual rides open to any of us who own the Trail??? Would love to meet you all!

Cindy Robbins there is a Facebook page called" Can-Am Maverick Trail" (make sure you spell it just like that as there is another page without the "-" that is a dead page. Top banner of this page has a MT crossing a bridge. Join that page and look in the "events" section. 2021 meet is scheduled July 7-10 in Clayton ID at Sawmill Station. All of the details and reservation links are there. 👍

2 Thumbs up for Wife's camera work - +1 for drone footage. That's my plan for this year. 10 years of ATV riding - this year will be first SXS - waiting on my Sport X XC to finish it's build out to bring home. What are you using for Gimble on just go pro? And - what drone ? Mine is Phantom 3 Standard - trying to figure out a good way to transport it while riding.

We just started using the Hero 7 this year. It has pretty good stabilization on its own, but we found mounting it on even an inexpensive gimbal (we use this one) Hohem iSteady Pro GoPro Gimbal,... www.amazon.com/dp/B07GXBXGTW?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share really helps a lot in smoothing out the footage even more. Hoping to add another hero camera this year (probably another Hero 7). The drone I use is the Mavic 2 Pro. I bought the fly more kit and surprisingly enough the whole kit (bag, three batteries, drone, and controller) fit in the glove box in front of the passenger. I do have a hard case for it, but I've found it's just easier to put it in its bag and put it in the glove box. If your looking for a good waterproof/dust proof case to transport check out GPC cases, they are awesome. I have their cases for my Mavic 2 Pro, My Mavic Mini, and one of their GoPro cases, good stuff. 👍. Congratulations on the new machine ! You're going to love it. Thank You for watching ! I hope to see some of your videos in the near future.

Nice job as always from you folks, very enjoyable! I’ve been eyeballing the maverick trail since September. Your videos came up awhile back searching for info on it and I can’t wait to order it around March 1st. for the Maine area thanks to your insight! Happy New Year!

Thumbs up for the wife! Lol. She does get some good shots. Keep up the great work. I was actually pointing this out to my wife (she watches with me sometimes) before you even commented about it. So it gets noticed!! Lol.

I’d recommend to stay in Lake City Or Silverton Colorado and ride the Alpine Loop trails

That’s on my list. I won’t get it done in 2020, but I’m hoping next year I can do it. I’ve heard nothing but good things about it.

Great videos! I really like your set up in the back of your machine. I am considering something like that for my Sport XRC.

Thank You ! I love the Ryfab Cargo Rack. It's super solid and makes a nice extra place to store stuff. We keep a set of folding chairs and a folding table up there so we have a nice place to sit and have lunch. I have added their spare tire carrier to my rear rack recently. I'll post a video of that setup soon.

Can you tell me what a good editing program to use to edit my Go Pro 5 hero videos? Thanks Dave
@MyATVlife4 жыл бұрын
I use Davinci Resolve. It's a great program, and it's free. Very powerful. It takes some time to learn it (still learning) but I really like it.

How many miles is on your machine now?

Just over 2700 miles on it now. Sadly, with work and weather, I haven't had it out of the garage since October.

Wow, beautiful scenery in Utah. I hope to get there some day, rent an ATV or Side by Side and check it out for a few days. Any place in particular you recommend for someone from Canada that's never been there before? Your wife's drive-by shots are great, and can't have enough drone footage. Fantastic shots.

If you're going to Utah you definitely need to see the Paiute Trail. Literally thousands of miles of trails ranging from easy to difficult. Marysvale is my favorite place to stay on the Paiute just because it's "central" in the system with several routes out of town. Several places in Marysvale rent ATV's and Side by Sides too.

Great vids, you know that's torture sitting here in SW Colorado Winter watching your vid. I have a couple of drones and that is amazing your first time out. IMPRESSED,BTW put some 1.5" spacers for Moab... whole different experience. And seriously drop the air in your tires down to the 10-12psi.
@EastCoastATV4 жыл бұрын
Curious what you run your tire pressure at normally? I ride mine with 10 in the rear and 8 in the front at all times.
@MyATVlife4 жыл бұрын
I'm seriously considering buying a second set of wheels and tires for Moab and other places where I don't need to be 50 inches. Something with a 4+3 or 4+4 offset and a 28 or 30 tall by 10 inches wide tire. Being a little wider would make quite a bit of difference in Moab for sure. I ran 13 rear and 11 front in Moab last year, 10-12 like you said would have helped too.

I really like your videos, your drone shots were real good as well. To bad you don't allow other types of UTV to you Can AM gathering. I would have bought a trail but it was not going to fit in our toy hauler. We are going to Hatfield and McCoy trail system this fall anyway...

Cool We are wintering in Tucson AZ and right out the gate of the RV park is the BLM and you can ride unrestricted to the Mexican Boarder. Did you ride in Mackay? We will be spending the most of June in Caldwell ID and will go up to Mackey and check it out.

Terence Reinig Mackay is awesome ! We went there for the first time last year, it will be an annual trip for us from now on. Beautiful place to ride.

What led bulbs did you use, looks good. I was concerned about using them in fear of them getting gummed up with mud and burning up, but my mud running days are long over and don’t really see my mav trail as being any type of mud machine.
@MyATVlife4 жыл бұрын
They work pretty well for how much I paid for them, but these cannot be "clocked". LEDs are suppose to be straight up and down, and these sit at a 45 degree angle, but they still work really well for the $. I bought them on Amazon Here: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XHDYTGL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Thanks ! I just started using Davinci Resolve. I'm still learning it. There's more in it than I'll ever use, but the basics are pretty easy once you figure it out. Plus it's free. Can't beat that. 👍
