Hi! Chantel, thanks for sharing your journey in Sedona. I live next door in Cottonwood. I was just there yesterday April 24th, 2021. I went on a great hike Loop that I enjoy! I have not yet been on the hike to a Vortex that you went on in this video. I am very blessed to live in beautiful Red Rock Country. So many great hikes around here. Just love living here. Was there twice, and second time I did feel the magic of that place, but could not summit, bad knee... you are right though, hotel prices were unreal.... but enjoyed it much and funny, I lucked out both times find a spot in tiny parking area on way up to airport loop. If you're going to Prescott, you can camp free at Potato Patch recreation area in the Mingus Mountains. I did last fall and it's beautiful forest area.

If you take the road between Sedona and Flag through Oak Creek Canyon, there is a natural spring where you can refill your water jugs. The water tastes amazing!!
