Arizona looks so beautiful! There's a camp host opportunity on the Natchez Trace here in Mississippi for the spring, and my first thought was "if I was as brave as Chantelle". I'm so glad I get to live out my van life dreams vicariously through your videos.

That sounds like a magic place with historical energy. We camped by trail that runs deep and high sided through woods. Hosting could be fun but there can be difficult people with issues.

Sedona is truly one of the most beautiful areas in the US. I think the elevation helps it a lot so it's not at all like the other desert areas of AZ like around Phoenix, but AZ has a lot more geographical diversity than people realize. Sedona is well known for it's positive energetic field spiritually and gets a lot of tourists who enjoy that as well as a big artist community. It can be a little expensive, hotels are very pricey. It does have a lot of options. The other down side is when it becomes congested from tourists & traffic during the popular times of the year (summer especially). It is one of my most favorite places in the south-western US. Thanks for sharing!

Looking for a camping stove? Try the Walmart in cottonwood, which is just a few miles south of your camping area. Cottonwood is also a little warmer than Sedona. Just does not have the red rocks, but they have a lot of nice things to do. They have an Old Town that is nice to walk thru with shops. Happy you are enjoying our state.

Hi, I just saw this video and took a look at your gear and saw something that can be improved. I am an automotive guy so when I saw your headlights it concerned me. there are low cost ways to clear your head lamps. There is a baking soda and vinegar treatment. Orrr I found a paste that is sold in the dollar General automotive section. After one application your Night vision will be much improved, after a few weeks repeat it and do it once a year after the first two apps. Safety is a must.

I got sober and clean in Sedona, Az in June on the 4th, 1980. Have never had to pick up anything since this 1980. Sedona , Az has jeep rentals to for a weekend Jeep vacation off road. And they have good campouts here too. I was fed at the little building at the base of the hill. Then I guy picked me up and took me to the top of the hill. It had a big white cross on top of that hill. And he put on the coffee pot. I actually put me onto the streets back then too. I did not do this on purpose, was not in my right mind then. Slowly I came back to life. Paul

You're close enough to Cottonwood that you could pay for a day pass to use the shower at the rec center there. There's also a planet fitness in Cottonwood but I don't know if you have a membership to them. Sedona's so geared towards tourists. Cottonwood has a Big 5 sporting goods and Walmart which might have had the camping stove you were looking for.

I was born on the Trace. Never seen it since I was young. Always wanted to go exploring. I think I saw a video on here there is a grave in Natchez city cemetery of a little girl whose mother put a see through window in her burial plot with steps so she could go down & sit & talk to her. The little girl was afraid of storms. I believe she was 8 or 9. Weird huh? There's another strange one in that same cemetery I believe but I can't remember what it is.
