I can validate the myth of XP100 fuel. Mileage did not increase. Engine was looking smoother but the mileage was same and the only thing that increased was my bill 😢

Even if mileage increases, it will increase by 5% but the price difference is huge. 100 octane is meant for super cars and super bikes only. It's useless for everything other than that.

Engines in India are detuned by reducing compression ratios hence higher octane number doesn't help In case we shave off the cylinder block by an mm then difference will be noticed in power

@@sagimayank it will surely increase little bit but we won't be able to test that unless we are testing it in a lab. Hiegher octane fuel burns cleaner so the engine runs smoother. This leads to slight increase in mileage

It's generally not a rating for increasing fuel efficiency. It's an octane rating to make you aware if what fuel grade is good for your car. If your car is good for 91 octane, then not required. For VW 2.0 cars, XP95 works better in acceleration, and better performance. I have also noticed better mileage but by just 1-2kmpl

Nitrogen also stays cool even with high distance running or high speed running. This could prevent tyre bursts as air expands when it heats up. This also help us to get the right tyre pressure on occasions when we have already driven for some time and tyres have warmed up. In case of normal air, the gauge will give a hiegher reading as the air is expanded. Add to all this, the fact that it leaks slower and the 30 to 40 inr ppl pay extra in a month for nitrogen is totally worth it 🤣

I have been avoiding these Higher Octane Fuels and Nitrogen air for this same reason. But I use Synthetic oil because running of my car is very low so synthetic oil can easily last 1 year.

When you go synthetic ,the longevity of the engine definately increases, lesser friction means,lesser heat generated, lesser vibration,lesser noise,better fuel economy, better performance, longer change duration .Its insane when a auto expert recommends mineral instead, just to save on oil change ,saying mineral oil is fine.I recommend same grade synthetic oil as recommended for the vehicle by the agency,most of the agencies give customers option to opt for synthetic anyways. A fully synthetic engine oil will increase the overall life and performance period of a vehicle's engine . It decreases maintenance, like coolent change intervals also .Heat never causes synthetic oil to burn ,or break molecules, unless you use a lower grade oil . I recommend mobil 1 advance fully synthetic 5w30 for most gasoline engines ,it costs 3 - 4k for 4 liter can . Its good to go for 10k and sometimes more than that depending on how much dust the engine suck during that 10k period.If a vehicle is not used/driven much(5000km or less yearly) ,synthetic oil is good for 2 years without replacement . The overall economics of synthetic oil is (cheaper) and way better than mineral oil ,and if you own a newer vehicle ,its always worth it . If someone wants to go a little overboard, try 5w30 by pennzoil. Amazing thing about this fully synthetic oil is that its made of Natural gas (as base oil ) .The performance is next level altogether. For diesel go for 5w40 or a 10w40 fully synthetic, depending what the manufacturer grade recommends . Another next level full synthetic oil is Royal purple, try it to see the difference.Indians always tend to save money 💰 and miss out on the finner things in life .Mineral oil is rum , advanced fully synthetic is wine.

Would like to correct with regards to nitrogen air. Nitrogen temp is cooler than air temp, so when we use it on longer rides the tires with normal tend to blast because of heat generated, whereas nitrogen air reduces the heat regenerated

High octane fuel are for high performance engine. In fact ferrari recommend 95 RON grade petrol which loosely translate to 91 octane. Some cars have 98 RON engine which means 95 AKI. However nitrogen does help. I have measured better grip and milage with nitrogen air.

Today's cars mostly recommend synthetic oil. I have personally used synthetic oil for last 10 years, it's far better than mineral oil. Buy good quality oil from outside car dealership and it will not cost 3 times as well.

Hello, Suggest on this topic what to do. 1. Kiger car tyre pressure recommend 34psi. But on this scale car make jump, tyre and shocker noice and other issues arise . But 30 and 32psi is end all problem. What we fallow , company recommendation or or our comfortable psi. Thanks.

Your advise on all the points are helpful for car owners. But the point of nitrogen in tyres against normal air ( oxygen ) isn't correct. With Nitrogen the tyres not only retain the pressure for a longer time but also runs cold so the life of the tyre is improved considerably. I am talking out of experience so wanted to let you know. The other issue is about the synthetic oil it's a much better oil even though is more expensive as it. Keeps the engine in much better shape again this out of experience of over 1lakh kilometres on my Maruti Wagon R 2006 model. This is for your info. Only.
