I have had lupus nephritis since 2017 and biopsy showed I have diffuse proliferative glomerulonephritis. Been on MMF ever since kidney involvement. My disorder calmed down considerably. My kidneys are still scarred but somehow they still manage to filtrate in the range of a normal, unaffected adult. It’s a difficult drug to take though. I end up being sick from bacteria and viruses very easily now. Anyways, thank you for creating this video! I understand my wonder drug so much more now.

If necessary, it is safe to just stop MMF; you do not need to slowly reduce the dose. However, keep in mind, if you were gaining any benefit from MMF, it will usually take at least 6 weeks to lose it.👍
