My late Aunt showed me a basic stitch and I made a blanket many years ago. I decided I wanted to take up crochet art again so I started watching videos. Your 3D Rose Granny Square is so beautiful and your instructions are very easy to follow. I am making them with different color roses and having so much fun. Thank you and I hope you continue to do granny squares with raised flowers on them so I can make a garden blanket or bed runners.

Can you please tell me what yarn you used for your tutorial? I made a sampler using cotton but it felt flimsy and droopy with no body to keep the flower in shape. I would appreciate a reply with your comments and thoughts 🇬🇧 Maria 🧶

I used a cotton yarn..nature cotton from soft feathers brand.. don’t use a big size hook, but don’t forget to block your squares.. check out my latest video for blocking technique
