Use your grinder to cut a deep enough score line on the outside of the bend you want. You can bend it easily. Then weld it up.

Yeah, we thought about it at first, but wanted to live the metal 100% intact. In hindsight, definitely would've worked out better

As a rule of thumb, always leave at least 1.5-3 threads after the fastener. Those tiny little nuts can't handle such huge loads without some stickout.

Thanks to you guys, a big inspiration, I'm currently building a wide body drift tractor that has a ebay 250-5 speed and its turbocharged. My slogan will read " Do you think my tractor sexy?" On the back of the tractor. I love that song. Can't wait to show you guys my build when it's finished.

whats the plan to keep chain tension with leaf springs?

Chain tensioner of some sorts connected off engine mount, probably a idler sprocket with a spring

@@mycustomgokart but the leaf spring let the axle twist side to side. It will throw alignment off, unless you run a small sprocket like the grindhard guys did with some of their small builds.

if you wanted to make some real money I would be starting a custom go carting business if I was you. You have the skills and you already have decent exposer and even a website domain :) Just build a few more examples and take contracts with rich people doesn't hurt to at least start advertising that you would be willing to do such a thing.
