Mye's Ribs: Ribs and BBQ Grilled Pork | West Edmonton Mall Food Review - Best Edmonton Mall

Mye's Ribs Filipino Kitchen is located in the Phase One Food Court at West Edmonton Mall. I've been there twice, and both were enjoyable! My number one pick is, of course, their Ribs. They were really great, especially considering they are food court ribs!
In a close second is their BBQ Grilled Pork. I did find that the way they packaged in their salad made it warm, which kind of cost them points there. Overall though, still very good.
They even included a Filipino Rice Cake of sorts with both meals, which was fantastic.

The first cake you got is a sweet cassava cake and the second one looks like it's an ube (sweet purple yam) cake/ pudding. As for the vinegar sauce you got in your second meal, it is meant for the meat. So delicious that way, and, especially if you try out the garlic fried rice next time instead of the plain rice. happy eating! :)

The dessert, you described like rice pudding, it is called cassava cake, and the vinegar, you can also use it in the pork barbecue.

Filipinos have some of the best BBQ around. Up there with Korean BBQ. Glad you got a taste of it there at WEM and it's good! Will have to try some when I go there.

2:55 didn't you already upload a video of Explore India? Did you take it down? You had said that the butter chicken dish was pretty bad, especially the rice and only the sauce was good.

I've walked by a few times and was curious. Now I know it's a good bet. Sad to see the food court's are mostly empty. I went last Sunday and the mall was very busy but the seating areas in the food courts seemed basically empty. Most people seem to be just taking food to go now.

When you said that you got your Pepsi at New York Fries, I wondered where it was as I was there about the same period as you with the dining area all smpty and surrounded by barriers. I wanted some fries. Then in your next meal I saw them in the background and that they had moved, a better location? It's sad to see so many food stalls empty as is WEM at this time of year. I'm shocked. ...Cheers...
