Thanks! Really is the best offering at the price point I feel, there's some competition rising fast though, will be an interesting year in IEMs :)

I love these IEMs. I know a couple people in the community have pooh-poohed them, but I simply don't agree. I have over 60 pairs of IEMs and some of them range up to over $600 in price, but this CK-D41 is still one of my very favorite pairs. Its tuning is fantastic, its timbre is natural, and its technicalities are quite good. It's just incredibly musical and enjoyable to listen to, which is what ultimately matters to me

Fully agree. But is this a 0.78 recessed pin or Just 0.78 pin?

I just don’t understand why HBB neg’d them. I can’t find another bad review on them.

@@johnmcvicker6728 Sometimes it can be simply the personal ear canal impedance. For example AFUL P8 is a great IEM, but I don't like it personally, just ends up sounding a bit wrong to me.

Nice review. I like the D41. I agree that the P5 has a tighter dynamic driver. Amazingly, rather mild parametric EQ here and there allows the D41 to perform fairly close to the P5 such that I had to make room in in one of my IEM boxes in order to place the D41 adjacent to my P5. I think that the D41 is appropriately priced when it is frequently on sale for $150 and is good value at this price. My parametric EQ settings focused on improving the tonality of the midrange and vocals.

Great review! When you were talking about the graph a question came in my mind. Do you have your own target graph? Kinda could be nice to see it and maybe by including it in your vids graph section? Just an idea which came in my mind so do whatever you want with it :D Can't wait for upcoming videos!
@Jaawaudio5 ай бұрын
Really good question! I do have an old target graph, which was basically a combination of 7Hz Sonus and AFUL Performer8. The reason I don't currently have one, is the fact that I don't have my 5128 delta calculation done yet, for my 711 coupler. Same reason I don't have my squiglink page updated in a long while. There were some unfortunate discoveries, that my Asus Xonar USB card had ~20 ohm output impedance, and it was messing with my measurements. I now use just a simple Shanling UA1 Plus, with its ~0.6 ohm output impedance, to get measurements that are compatible with Crinacle's 711 measurements. This means I need to measure everything again, we're talking around 80 IEMs. I'll do it during summer vacation after midsummer celebrations :D After I have the 5128 delta and JM-1 etc. targets on squiglink, I will then be able to see the more accurate graphs for my favorite sets, and design an official Jaawaudio target :)

There is a little bit of work to do to measure ~80 IEMs again :D Still love the effort you're willing to do for this hobby and amazing that you're sharing your knowledge

Try it with a 50 ohm impedance adapter.

Does trn conch red nozzle have more bass than ziigaat nuo, could you also tell me which one is more warm and airy.btw could you also tell me which one has bigger sound stage.
@Jaawaudio4 ай бұрын
Nuo has slightly more bass, but it's not a big difference, smaller than eartips effect can be. Nuo is warmer and has slightly more air spice in the treble, to my ears. Sound stage is about the same.
