As an Indonesian I didn't expect that that restaurant also served rendang, I thought It was only available in Indonesia or Malaysia. And also the lumpia toge, in Indonesia toge also means bean sprout but it is uncommon to find lumpia with toge filling. Looks like Indonesians won't find any problem to find foods that suit their taste in this Quiapo Manila.

Same here in Philippines,we call lumpia that is spring rolls with toge,you can add meat of your choice and add carrots.
@rod_triplxvi7397 ай бұрын
I was surprised that you never use toge in lumpia. In the Philippines, we have different Lumpia variations like Lumpiang Shanghai (ground pork meat) Lumpiang Isda (minced fish meat) Lumpiang Toge (beansprout) Fresh Lumpia (coconut ubod) Dinamite (Big green Chili with cheese and ground meat) etc some even uses sayote, papaya,squash,sweet potato or bamboo shoots depending on what province and if you want it for snack we called it Turon (most commont filling is saba banana)

Togue is bean sprouts, it’s what was inside the spring roll. The white onion leaves is sakurab, Maranaos grind that along with ginger and chili which is called palapa. Palapa is used in almost all Maranao dishes including the soup of the budi(fish eggs) you had at that restaurant.

🔴🔴🔴 JESUS WAS A MUSLIM ⁉️ How could Jesus be a Muslim when your Allah said? 1. ) Muhammad was the first Muslim (Surah 39:12)? 2.) No Islamic prophet / messenger was sent before Muhammad (Surah 28:46)? 3.) No Islamic book was transmitted before Muhammad (Surah 34:44)? Question: Who is greater, Muhammad in the tomb or Jesus in heaven?
@acesrusselcloud56767 ай бұрын
Obviously you're an avid fan of Christian prince. But your argument is too shallow. Lol. Definition of the word Muslim: Who can utter better words than one who invites to GOD, works righteousness, and says, “I am one of the submitters”? Quran (41:33) "The Prophet (Muhammad) believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers. Each one believes in God, His Angels, His Books, and His prophets. (They say,) ‘We make no distinction between one another of His prophets...’" (Quran 2:285) "And ask (O Muhammad) those of Our prophets whom We sent before you: ‘Did We ever appoint gods to be worshipped besides the Most Merciful (God)?’" (Quran 43:45) "And, indeed We have sent prophets before you (O Muhammad), of some of them We have related to you their story, and of some We have not related to you their story..." (Quran 40:78) "And We did not send any Messenger before you (O Muhammad) but We revealed to him (saying): ‘none has the right to be worshipped but I, so worship Me.’" (Quran 21:25) You shall strive for the cause of God as you should strive for His cause. He has chosen you and has placed no hardship on you in practicing your religion - the religion of your father Abraham. He is the one who named you "Submitters" originally. [Quran 22:78] Abraham was neither Jewish , nor Christian; he was a monotheist; a Muslim; he never was an idol-worshiper. The people most worthy of following Abraham are those who follow him and this prophet (Muhammed), and those who believed. God is the Lord of the believers. [Quran 3:67-68] Then we inspired you (O Muhammed) to follow the religion of Abraham, monotheism; never was he an idol-worshiper. [Quran 16:123] Say, "We have believed in God and in what was revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Descendants, and in what was given to Moses and Jesus and to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [submitting] to Him." [Quran 3:84]

@@acesrusselcloud5676 My friend, I am not obsessed with Christian Prince, but rather with discovering the TRUTH from him. What I wonder is whether the Islamic teaching that JESUS CHRIST WAS A MUSLIM is true or false ??? St. Luke 4:16 says: "Then Jesus came to Nazareth, where He had been raised. As was His custom, He entered the SYNAGOGUE on the SABBATH. And when He stood up to read..." My question is: where does history show that Muslims go to synagogues instead of mosques to worship on Saturdays (Jewish Sabbath) instead of Fridays? In synagogue, did Jesus read Quran instead of Torah? Logically, JESUS WAS NOT A MUSLIM because history tells us that HE IS A JEW. That's why I sometimes wonder if the teachings of Islam are true or false. Thanks brother. ❤❤❤
@acesrusselcloud56767 ай бұрын
@@jayyjay8082 haha. So basically he is Jewish and his religion is Jewish according to your bible. And no verses anywhere in the Bible saying he is Christian. Lol. But despite this, our conjecture to judge the truth is the Quran. Jesus is clearly stated in the Quran he is Muslim and worshipped Allah swt Aal-e-Imran 3:50 وَمُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَىَّ مِنَ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ وَلِأُحِلَّ لَكُم بَعْضَ ٱلَّذِى حُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْۚ وَجِئْتُكُم بِـَٔايَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ English - Sahih International And [I have come] confirming what was before me of the Torah and to make lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you. And I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so fear Allāh and obey me. Aal-e-Imran 3:51 إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ رَبِّى وَرَبُّكُمْ فَٱعْبُدُوهُۗ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ English - Sahih International Indeed, Allāh is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is the straight path. English - Sahih International But when Jesus felt [persistence in] disbelief from them, he said, "Who are my supporters for [the cause of] Allāh?" The disciples said, "We are supporters of Allāh. We have believed in Allāh and testify that we are Muslims [submitting to Him].
@truebelief36317 ай бұрын
The founder of Islam was the prophet Muhammad who was born 600 years after Jesus. And those who followed Christ came to be known as Christians. So Jesus obviously could not have been Muslim or Christian. He could only have been a Jew.
@jayyjay80827 ай бұрын
@@truebelief3631 According to John 1:1, Jesus is God incarnate. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit to a Jewish woman named Mary. Jesus founded one Christian Church known today as the CATHOLIC CHURCH in Jerusalem in 33 AD. Its members are called Christians meaning "followers of Christ." Christ cannot be called a Christian, but he can be called the "Founder of Christianity." Thanks! 💌
