I am in the Philippines city Zamboanga I visit an area known as Paso Nanca which has a lot of filipino street food vendors. Chicken Inasal originated from Bacolod. It was among Taste Atlas' top 10 chicken dishes in the world. Bulalo is actually beef bone marrow soup. (Not Bulalo if no marrow.) Some of the best ones are in Tagaytay which is only about 3 hrs drive from Manila. Hope you can visit it too on your return to see its famous Taal Volcano within a lake. And there are many other places there to visit like Sky Ranch amusement park, Twin Lakes, etc. :)
