The fact that your authentic purchase smells is a very real reason why I buy reps. These luxury fashion houses have really dropped the ball on quality control. I have this bag (I bought it brand new from the Bev Hills boutique) and it looks much better than the real one in this video. The real one in the video has some pretty rough looking stitching along the edges where the front meets the sides 🤔 I would have returned that one personally!

You need to go to Chanel site speak with a advisor and then they will tell you about the boutique where it might be available, sometimes they can’t even tell that.. it’s a waste of time, honestly.

I didn't like the stitching on the real bag at the bottom where it joins the front, it looks loose and too far apart. Some replicas are very good, sometimes better than the "real". Faults can be found on originals and copies, not just Chanel. I have seen replica LVs that are made better than the real thing.

Omg yes mine(authentic) has a odor inside too! Idk what it is bcus none of my other *esluxs* bags have an odor. Called lv and they said it was normal and that I could wipe the inside with a damp cloth.I also thought the lining was suede but it is actually microfiber so I'm going to look up ways to remove odors out of microfiber cus the smell stops me from using it as much.

You make it so painfully obvious through the biased wording when you compare. For example you say: “buttery yellow gold” vs “brassy one” (brass is inferior than gold). If you had said one is more yellow toned whereas the other one more muted, that could give space for the mystery

Honestly, they both looked fake. At the end I chose the right one since the super fake pattern lacks the character of the authentic bag. The curves on the authentic bag are more pronounced giving it a more high end look rather than mass produced look. After watching several super fake comparison videos that seems to be the main difference between super fake and real.

My First Luxury they are assembled in china and stamped in these countries. Chanel quality has dwindled over the years with their prices increasing by the year, when these items are all mass produced. I bought the a medium flap from the 19b collection straight form the store and the bag had loose threads, my friend bought a super fake of same bag after she had seen mine and hers was even better quality than mine. That was the straw that broke the camels back for me when it comes to Chanel. I would only spend money on vintage pieces at this point!!! Even from your video the fake looked better than the original. Never again would I be ripped off by Chanel.

If the bag you bought has manufacture defects or issues, the boutique should and usually is willing to look into it for you, just go back to where you got it from & tell them what happened. I’m not surprised tho. It all depends when you bought your Chanel bag. I think Chanel bags form at least 10 years ago are far superior in quality. Nowadays even authentic Chanel bags are really poorly made. 😕 and it also depends on the batch. Some batches are better made. In general personally I’m just disappointed in the quality of Chanel bags nowadays and it’s huge price increase. I’d rather buy vintage or preowned chanels or save a bit more for Hermes.... 🤨

I have a replica Chanel double flap and I passed all tests on mine and I didn’t break the bank buying it. All my bags are authentic except Chanel because they’re just too expensive, even pre loved is out of my range. If i was very wealthy and money was no object then I would buy real Chanel but I dont see that happening any time soon so I will stick to my high end replicas.
