@@Straight0uttaCrofton I hear you, but you'd never know unless you tried. When I was younger I used to think that I'd never find a girlfriend because I was so shy and overflowing with self-doubt and low self-esteem. However, as I got older, I found that what I thought wouldn't happen did. Ok, I'm single now, but I've had relationships and so my message to you is don't allow self-doubt and fear to hold you back. If you go forward in spite of your doubts and fear, you may find that your dreams come true more than you would expect.

I’m having a 90’s nostalgia party with myself with Lisa Loeb and other artists of that era. It’s so beautiful how these amazing artists created the soundtrack to so many of our lives as we were going into adulthood. The mix of emotions this song brings up are so nuanced, love and excitement and heartbreak and angst all mixed up with a deep longing for whatever had my younger self fall into that music in a way that has us inexorably intertwined . I remember a level of involvement with life that was so intense, so on fire that everything I touched burned into me. The power of music to bring all that back in such an immediate way is magic.
