Doctors Outrage Over Health Insurance

Luigi Mangione, the suspect in the killing of the UnitedHealthCare CEO, has now been charged with murder. Police say that in addition to possessing a ghost gun and showing police a fake ID upon arrest, he was also carrying a handwritten manifesto describing "parasitic" health insurance companies. His frustrations have been shared by many, including doctors. Dr. Steven Cyr, an orthopedic spine surgeon and author, states that doctors have been frustrated with insurance companies for years.

There should be CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT against claim denials! Use COLLECTIVE LEGAL FORCE to stand for your human rights (i.e. actual health care) and contractual rights (i.e. premiums paid). Someone start this. Spread the word to law firms, cases of those denied care, ngos, etc. C'mon America! Stand up for yourself! Use this moment of awareness to do real action!

I am getting a promotion starting Wed. My yearly income about doubled, but still not a lot yearly. I went on Market place to update my income for my health insurance. After I saw what the premiums will be monthly I've decided to go without insurance until April when there is open enrollment at my job. What they want monthly is now more than my fkn car note. The cheapest, just for me, is almost 700 a fkn month. Insane. So I'll just have to pay out of pocket for my upcoming heart doctor visit and endocrinologist visit cause I need those meds, especially the thyroid medicine. Or I'll die. This sht is ridiculous in this fkn country

The insurance companies should have no control over what medical treatments the doctor can give the to patient. If the doctor and the patient are covered the doctor should decide the treatment and the insurance company should pay. The only possibly acceptable limits imposed by the insurance company is a total cost they will pay based on the insurance, which should be at least $100,000 per year based on the prices being charged. The insurance companies and hospitals / pharmacutical companies have too much control over what the patient has to pay and what he is covered for.

Health Insurance companies do not care about Prevention nor Diagnostics to identify the problem. They determine what's medically necessary when I'm suffering. It's common practice for doctors to prescribe multiple Narcotic pain medicines and or physical therapy based on the patient's complaints without knowing or caring about what's causing the problem. Patients subsequently become addicted to the Narcotics that result in a bigger problem added to the unknown diagnosis.

Unfortunately I think it’s due to some doctor’s who either overcharge their insurance for something that may not be as expensive as they submit or say they did the surgery or whatever they submit a claim for that may have not been done there are some really shady doctor’s out there and the honest doctor’s who are telling the truth about what procedure has to be done suffer along with the patient because of those shady doctor’s ‼️‼️
