Hurricane Beryl barreling through Caribbean, latest track information

Beryl is hitting Jamaica with hurricane force winds on the southern coast and tropical storm force over the rest of the island. The major hurricane approaches Cayman Islands tonight and hits the Yucatan Peninsula early Friday.

I believe you will see a greater probability that Beryl will hit just south of Houston. It will strengthen to a cat 4 by Tuesday. Cat 5 may happen just before land fall. Electrical utility companies need to call their crews in Wednesday. By then it will be on the coast of Texas...headed north to Oklahoma. Lots of Tornado possibilities Wednesday and Thursday...
