I have weird trauma remembering what Harvey did. Harvey made landfall and almost did a 180, went back out into the gulf and spent the next 5 days crossing Texas at a glacial pace, dropping an un-Godly amount of water on the area and doing tons of wind damage.

The irony of the Texas water shortage is that they need violent massive producing rain storms to refill rivers, wells, parched lands and reservoirs. California got theirs last year with a dozen atmospheric ocean storms. They received Biblical levels of water, and some of their water woes have been helped greatly. Mother nature is not without dark humor.

Another nut job. Are you new to hurricane forecasting? It's not always accurate. They can only give you what information the environmental variables are showing at any given time. Remember Harvey? It was supposed to be a low end TS or Cat 1 and it ended up a Cat 4. It is always best to be prepared for the worst. No one wants to be caught with their pants down. Unless you're into that stuff.
