@@davidsam6590 oooh. Sounds complicated. I just learned how to make picture book with rhymes. First one is called the seed of kindness. I've started a new youtube channel creative press read aloud. The trick is to get traffic from youtube to your books. Watch this space. I will be doing more normal colouring books too. But the training I bought makes the lines clearer and gives me extra chrome extensions to do research and get the keywords right. It's fun. Tried the first read aloud and got it completely wrong haha. And 2 of the pictures were in the wrong places. So my book will be tried and tested for quality before I upload to Amazon

The mystery mosaics for adults are my fav.--Belba family and Jennifer Rolling have some of my favorite. After work, I will watch Hulu or Netflix and color to destress. I like to see what the picture will turn out to be. I buy about 1-2 a month.

Am i right to say that sellers will sell a digital coloring book, which the buyer will then need to dowload in digital form and then print in hardcopy for coloring? Or these coloring books are already sold in hardcopy?

It's funny how the old "paint by numbers" genre is making a comeback in a new form, pretty sure the hidden style was common in the past too. Makes you wonder what else could be re-imagined for the modern consumer

I'd say color-by-number books are more difficult to create, so there is less competition in that sub-niche of coloring books.

Omg I didn’t know this type of coloring book was a thing now. I’m pretty sure I know how to make those pretty simply. The hardest part is going to be simplifying the number of colors in the puzzle, but illustrator can do that when converting to vector.

I have about 40 books published. I make about $5 to $20 a month doing nothing. No advertising. Most of the niches are quite saturated so in order to make decent money you probably will need to spend a significant amount of money on advertising and hope you at least break even. Just my two cents.

They have it for adults it's a small time artists like myself get ripped off by assholes I want to take it all online. I went ahead and published colour by number and then hand published colour by number mystery designs for adults with ADHD and autism and then I dropped off a bunch of these to an addiction medicine clinic and they got you know ripped off. And that is exactly what happens and people say that you haven't seen all this and you haven't seen all that that isn't the case at all it's just people take from each other constantly and try to constantly change and republish work as if it's theirs.

@@WaymakerOracle I'm sorry to learn that your books got ripped-off, especially after doing something kind by giving away a bunch to a clinic. As an artist, I've really wanted to do coloring books to sell on Amazon's KDP platform, but all I hear and read about are rip-off stories when real artists publish on Amazon KDP and Etsy. They find their art appearing in other's coloring books that are compilations of ripped-off artwork, or in collections of images for sale as digital downloads, usually for coloring book maker wanna-be's. The digital age has made it too easy for real artists to be ripped-off and now AI has added to it.
