Lizeth Munguia it’s referring to the seam, similar to the one under her head. When they mold the heads, hair or not, there is a mark left from the molding and they put it on the bottom of her head rather than the top. Usually it’s covered up by the hair or paint so people don’t normally see it on an average doll.

It is rather unfortunate to see the quality of the doll’s faces go down, the pixelated look is not that nice, which is a shame, because otherwise the dolls are very well done!

Same! It all started woth those BTS dolls and i remember ARMY’s were BASHING Mattel for that along eith how bad the hair was. I dont mind paying more for these dolls if it means better quality 😔✌🏻

147 has such a beautiful face, as a Hawaiian; she looks like she could finally be my Hawaiian girl! Edit: I found her today!!! So happy she doesn't have the pixilated screening. I'm so happy because I've wanted a doll to look like ethnicity! You don't see a ton of dolls that look Hawaiian that isn't some "Hula" themed doll. Fun fact: Hula I'd very important to our culture, but it has been stereotypical of Polynesian people.

I have never seen a Barbie that actually looks like me and the one that you body swapped has my nose, dark hair and skin tone and now the same curves! I think if I had barbies like that growing up I wouldn't have as many insecurities about myself knowing that there are dolls who look like me and they are made along side Barbie herself!

Wow, that is a lot of new dolls LOL! My favorites are the Asian with pigtails (145 - I was lucky with her face because mine didn't seem to be pixelated), the lady with the new body type in the striped dress (147 - mine also didn't have pixels on her face, yay!), and the girl in the mouse dress (140 - love the Kira face sculpt!). I don't mind the Asian guy but I did paint his hair. :D Oh boy, don't get me started on pixelated faces. I'm still mad that my BMR Tate looks like an 8-bit Nintendo character from the 80s. It's really depressing how much this is happening on all the dolls, play line and collector. This video has me wanting several of the other dolls, though! :D I got Ken 152 just for his shirt haha Thanks for sharing!
