Its crazy I have the brand new S22+ and it doesnt work on it, and the Iphone 12 keeps crashing the app. From your results 50 brightness in SDR is making it too bright and if you set it around 25 should be near 200-250 nits and have better black levels. Hope I can test this out soon. Thanks for the mention.
@MyGadgetsWorld2 жыл бұрын
What S22+ did not work? Yes you are right about calibrated makes it brighter. I think we can control backlight (which is brightness to any preferred level). As I said samsung will need to fix a lot of things to make it work properly for all devices including iPhone and also it is just for SDR. I wish it was for HDR calibration. .

Same here! Seems to be a common issue. Perhaps because we all do the same thing when we take it out of the box. From the back, we screw in the right side of the base tightly then the left side. Then as a result the left side sits lower a bit when we are facing the tv. Maybe thats why. Thats the only explanation I can come up with for now.

Reality is average consumer won't pay for a calibration as it's way to expensive. This is really to get your TV to a starting point and then you can tweak to your liking which is great for the average consumer. I'm sure once a "professional" calibrator compares to their calibration equipment it won't be close and they'll shit on this from Samsung. But in sure Samsung knows that's not the point. I'm sure it'll be better than the way the tv comes and will get better over time.

But to me the iPhone calibration looks better.
