MyGica USB pc tv tuner with mini antenna

I ordered this yesterday and got it today from Amazon. It took me about 20 minutes to download AND install all the files (Drivers, Manual and Basic Software). I live in Phoenix metro. I ran a scan with the mini antenna and got about 38 channels and was able to connect to and view several channels on my HP laptop. Reception was OK for the really local channels and less clear from more remote channels. I then hooked up an RCA indoor antenna and ran the scan again. This time I got 90+ plus channels and the rection when viewing the telecasts was a bit better. Be advised that not all the Channels returned on the scan will be viewable..,. may be due to distance or something else. A warning to the males with females in the household, it appeared that all the QVC channels came in just fine. Thanks for the review. I do recommend this product and I plan on using it in RV and boondoggling camping.

I actually got another one of these more recent but have not had time to get around to an updated and better review. I now live out in the country so it is even harder to get channels. I got only a couple with the included one and then I hooked it up to an Antop outdoor antenna and got some more. I still have to finish playing with it soon but its been really busy. I've been using Hauppauge for years... don't scrap the mini antenna (or give it to me 😊)! I've picked up channels across the border, plus it depends on the location in the house, or near a window, etc. MAYBE try finishing the scan before ending it?

On Mac, i downloaded the recommended software, it scans and find the channels but cannot open the display window, alas hardware not supported

This product will allow the user to record shows , saves to my laptop and I was able to play back the show I recorded. Once done, it is easy to delete the recording from my laptop.

Hello. Nice to see this review. Just with a question... I saw this tuner on Amazon, and I can see is useful for Analog and DTV (ATSC). So, my country adopted ISDB-T instead of ATSC, and my question is... Is it useful for ISDB-T and other DTV systems? Or just for ATSC?

Hi i used an android tv box and MyGica T230 DVB-T2 usb tuner and with Pad TV app it picks up all my local FTA on the box with crisp and sharp audio/video ^^

I dont think it needed internet but i cannot remember and I returned it since it was not that good.

I do not think it would work for a tv since it has a USB plug and I havent seen a tv use the USB for that anyway.

I do not own or know anyone who has a chromebook. Just windows and mac os here. I also did not keep this antenna to even test again but I have considered looking into others.

in Android i used Pad TV app with MyGica T230 DVB-T2 usb tuner on both on a TV box and a tablet (via USB-A to USB-C adapter) both pick up FTA DVB-T2 channels very well ^^
