Recently I went from PXG putter to LAB. What a difference. Sam got on an actual phone call with me when I put questions out there during the fitting process. I suck at putting and LAB made me much better. Sam rocks!

Sam Hahn makes the point that unless other companies are willing to hand-build each putter to make sure the balance is correct, they will not achieve true zero torque through the stroke. That is probably not a commitment many mass producers would be willing to make.

One of the main reasons I struggled with the LAB putters, is the weight. The Allen feels great, looks great and putts great. I don't really care what the revealer shows. The real question is: Did LAB Golf copy SeeMore? They are doing lieangle balanced putters for so long now. It's nothing new to the market
@GolfSpyC9 күн бұрын
Starting to split hairs a bit - which is where I think the entire "zero torque" discussion is headed, but SeeMore's calling card is an alignment system (red dot + centershaft) - this isn't the same as L.A.B.
@@GolfSpyC I disagree - While their alignment system (aka Rifle Scope) is one of there talking points, lie angle balanced has always been an important marketing point for SeeMore.

@@michaelcmg6754 As I understand lie-angle balancing, SeeMore isn't the same...it just isn't. CG balanced perhaps, and I get that there's plenty of nuance here, but if you really understand how LAB builds putters, it's clear that lie-angle balancing isn't what SeeMore is doing

It will never end.😂
@samhahn69509 күн бұрын
I hear you and I hate having to do it. But in this case, it’s just blatant false advertising and capitalizing on 10 years of hard work on our part. It feels necessary to educate folks on this new space in the putter world and to advertise their putter as zero torque when it’s not even close just sucks. Not good for the consumer nor the industry. There’s been some other cometitors and if they stay in their lane and don’t make false claims, we dont make videos. Odyssey and Evnroll have had putters that perform similarly to the Allan but their marketing claims are honest. That isn’t the case here.
@brianlardin94049 күн бұрын
@@samhahn6950 the only education the people need on the false PXG advertising is that any putter that "finds home" (as the PXG video so confidently states) cannot do so in the absence of torque. It as an absolute requirement of the laws of physics for the Allan to "find home" that the lever being pulled to find home IS, in fact, TORQUE!

Yes, but there is nowhere you’re going to go and say I want to hit a five iron and a T2000 and a six iron and a T100… pretty much anywhere you go to get fit you’re hitting a six or seven iron that’s it. We are not tour players and don’t have that opportunity.

I have carried a 44" and 45" driver both for years. The 44 is a Titleist 910D 12* and 45" is a Mizuno STX 10.5 *. The 910 is a fairway finder all day long. Still has good carry distance because it a little spinny but if you need short grass it's a killer for that. I just don't carry a real 3 wood but a 16.5* TM M4 - 3 wood that is more like a 4 wood. You have to give up something to carry two drivers !

Guys, I actually have a “ mega mini driver”, but it is 440cc. I built a Maltby KE4 Pro driver at 44” long and added enough weight to the clubhead through the sole weight port to achieve a D3 swingweight. It works great as a “control driver”, although it is sort of like a larger version of the mini driver.
