guyfromBR, it was maybe 1986 so I can't remember much. I can remember being up close to John Williams when he was demonstrating musical ideas and suggestions, the power and tone quality was mind blowing !!! There were a few students other than Russell that played that day, so it would be great to see the whole thing. Ciao!

At a glance of the title, I thought David Russel appears in John Williams master class.

Ở Việt Nam chúng tôi gọi bản nhạc này là: Toà tháp đỏ . Được nhạc sư hướng dẫn là niềm mơ ước của các guitarit.

My hero although many criticized him for being too technical than musical.

I was at this master class and I was blown away when I saw all the familiar faces, we all looked so young ! Wow ! Do you have any more footage? From distant memory I think the master class went for a couple of hours. Please contact me.

Completely different approach to teaching as compared to Julian Bream (who was very unforgiving towards his students).

Yes true but this student is so outstanding while with JB you could hear the weaknesses.

Torre Bermeja. / Isaac albeniz

lots of albeniz piano music was transcribed for guitar and is a staple of the guitar repertoire. he didn’t write anything original for guitar.

Blimey i'm surprised Williams didn't just twat that Neville and chuck him in a skip
@coolrocknroll7 жыл бұрын
Did my attention flicker? Did Neville do something to incur the wrath of a God?

is this really masters class? "just do 1, 2, thumb instead and u'll be fine... the rest sounded really colorful"...lol i find John Williams very wishy-washy and overly friendly in his teaching method. but i guess if it boosts the students self confidence, then that's good too.
@adrianburridge23782 жыл бұрын
Williams looks totally bored with the whole thing and probably wishes he was somewhere else!
@CT25072 жыл бұрын
@@adrianburridge2378 I think you are right about that. I wonder why he agreed to participate.
