Glad you got some thing out of it! Let me know if there’s any other accessibility specific points that you would like me to cover. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for doing a great voiceover tour of the home app. I’m on 16.2 now and yes there are still many issues. I’ve reported delete some of them to Apple accessibility.

Thanks! I’ve done the same. Who knows if anything will actually come of it, but it’s the most that we can do.

Dustin, I am afraid that so far, the 16.2 beta is even less VoiceOver friendly. I had the same problem that you did with categories in 16.0 and 16.1. However, now I can’t get to some of the categories at all. Also, the cameras are all unlabeled. Finally, each tile for a device is now broken up so that when you write Flick, VO will stay on that device for a couple flix. This last thing is actually a feature, not a bug, because it allows you to do different things just as visually oriented people can click on different parts of the tile and get different actions. If you are on the beta program, I encourage you to try it out and send feedback about VO and the Home app. I am afraid that when 16.2 comes out, we are going to have VVO trouble.

How irritating! I’ve had tons of troubles with VO across all of iOS 16. It’s hard to even count really. I haven’t even updated my max because of this. I am not currently running any betas, but will definitely be on the lookout going forward. Hopefully this is not the beginning of a trend.
