Mistletoe 😘. The sweater is called “duster length.” Your beautiful Chloe has grown up so much since I first saw her when you started out! Really fun seeing you together today. Not to beat the point to death, but I’m so glad you’re enjoying (maybe too strong a word?! 🤣) being an involved contributing school Mom. When both of my daughter’s (two years apart) graduated high school and went to college, I felt like I was thrown off a fast moving train and had to figure out what my new ”purpose” was. I had been suddenly widowed when our girls’ were only ten and twelve, so there was lots of re-evaluating and adjusting as mothering evolved. Life, thankfully, just keeps moving forward and so does parenting. It’s both a challenge and a blessing to keep up with it.

Hoping to get it in before Christmas but there is just so much to show in a day that I have to prioritize what makes the most sense right now before Christmas. If I don't get to it during vlogmas, I will still be doing 2-3 videos in the new year and will show it then.

Hi Melissa - how did I miss this video today? I thought I would just watch it over again because I thought it was what I had already seen but then I realized it wasn’t and I was all excited. I’m exactly like you about switching gears. My girls always know when they give me a change of plans They just need to sit back for a minute while I whirl all around and then once I see that everything is going to be fine then I’m ok. This has. Kind of occurred as I have aged. I used to switch gears real quickly when things went awry. My girls are very patient with me.Do you think these videos are typical days for you or is there just so much more because of Christmas? Thanks for sharing with us. Love in Christ

I always look rough after a massage! 😂 Poor little Piper.. that made my heart hurt! YIKES that can make you sad!! Are they toy poodles or malti-poos or what? We have a standard poodle ~ they really are a super sweet breed and yours are precious! Mistletoe!

Mistletoe ~ I’m here for your daily vlogmas videos. It was funny when you mentioned that you leave the dishes out to dry instead of wiping them, I do the same. I’d rather deal with them drying them me standing in the kitchen any longer than I have to in order to dry dishes 😂no thanks! I’m spending this weekend shopping for the teachers because my kids will go on break next week for Christmas. Just finished your video while sitting in the carpool lane at school.

You do so much for your kids so I agree it’s ok to not do every once in awhile! I’m kind of surprised with your kids being in high school there’s still things like this to volunteer for, that all ended for me when my kids were out of elementary school! Although I believe your kids go to private school so maybe that’s why, mine went to public school 😊

I found your channel and love it. Such a good vibe of yours. Can I ask if you are going to wash your clothes after each use or how do you handle it, so you can wear something different every week/day? Do you Hang it back in to the freshly washed other clothes or do you hang a pant or jumper that has been worne in a separate cupboard? This is the part I struggle most with as I don’t want to wash pants and jumpers too often to keep them in better shape longer. Thanks for your work

For me, it really depends on a few things. If I got it dirty, how long I wore it, and what environment I wore it in. If I just wear it around the house and run a couple of quick errands, I will often times just wash the shirt (because I am in peri-menopause, hahaha!), and put the jeans back in the drawer or hang the pants.

Melissa have you ever had a Raindrop massage? I’ve seen your YL diffuser on your kitchen counter, which is why I ask. YL oils are used in a Raindrop Massage to be very beneficial to health and wellness for all the things. If your massage therapist knows how to do a Raindrop-I highly recommend.
