About that Altai-Sayan project: back when you could still see comment boxes on RateYourMusic, I saw a bunch of comments from the main guy behind the project saying that he was very disappointed in the project and was almost baffled by the praise that it got from black metal fans. He was a big fan of the sound of the insanely sketchy project Vothana, but it ended up sounding not the way he wanted it to sound… so he took it off everywhere, including Bandcamp (where it used to be set at NYP). He was so hard on himself; it was such a shame… Really cool that you met Jarboe! I have been getting into Swans a lot lately, so I am familiar with her mystifying voice.

I use the Ikea shelves. They make nicer more expensive ones, but the Ikea ones work just fine for me. And, no, I've heard that it's a really bad idea to stack them on top of each other cuz they have a weight capacity for each shelf.
