@@Fk86 When you beat the game, The Knight travels back in time for gameplay purposes, you won't be able to check on Myla to see if it worked. There's no way to confirm that she is safe and alive after achieving an ending, the only thing you'll have is the hope that in-universe... killing The Radiance for good causes ALL signs of The Radiance's infectious dream to dissipate and that full-on infection doesn't result in an automatic death in the host.

I can just imagine the Radiance trying to break into Myla's mind in various increasingly elaborate ways (she pulls out a jackhammer at one point) before finally getting inside during the second interlude. The second stanza is filled with shadows of the Radiance's enemies, while in the third the Radiance herself shows how she'd defeat her enemies (burning Pale King's wyrm body like a fuse and punting Ghost into the Abyss).

I feel like “Bury the beggar, with his shining crown” refers to the pale king. He was begging for the hollow knight to work. And Ogrim (and other NPCs) say he glows. And the teeth(?) on his shell are the crown. Edit: also it makes sense as the hollow knight, the radiance, the knight, and the white lady, are all referenced. The knight and the white lady are obvious being the knight and the lady in the song. However the hollow knight and the radiance are a bit less obvious being the shining creator (the radiance) and the new knight consuming him (THK)

Can we just step back a bit and discuss something? I have been through all of youtube and I can't find a single video that discusses Myla's Song. The song gives descriptors that don't match any characters that we see in-game... 1st verse: So we can be fairly sure that the "mother and father" characters are referring to The Pale King and The White Lady, but who are these sisters? And there are at least four of them, as the lyric is "bury my sisters, two by two". 2nd verse: This one has more unknowns. "Bury the knight with her broken nail". Who is this knight? I guess it could be referring to Hornet, but one, she never had a nail and has always used her needle and she's technically not even a knight. "The lady, lovely and pale" is without a doubt The White Lady. "Bury the priest in his tattered gown". I honestly have no idea who this could be referring to, because as far as I know, there are no characters in Hollow Knight that even resemble a priest, let alone one with a tattered gown. "Bury the beggar with his shining crown". It COULD be referring to The Pale King, as he's the only character in Hollow Knight with a crown (except The Radiance, but she's a girl, and this beggar is a guy), but he didn't really beg for anything. In the case of the Void, he just took it for experiments. So that sorta rules him out. Thank you for ready by this overly long comment consisting of just me yammering about video game crap :P

@Nathaniel Capitano Sisters cant be vessels since vessels lose their genders when they are put in the abyss, and why would myla, a regular bug, refer to the vessels as sisters? The knight with the broken nail, in the song, refers to the knight as a "her" so it can't be you. I think the her is referring to one of the five great knights (Dryya) Since she was overwhelmed by the mantis and was eventually killed by them outside of the white lady's..cocoon..thing.. The Pale King was at his wits end, so he sacrificed all of his children in an attempt to seal away the radiance. This can be used to call him a "beggar" because he tried absolutely everything to get rid of the radiance, even killing his own children, and then fleeing when he realized there was no hope.
