Paul hi from Alberta, Canada. As a 40 + year business traveler I've racked up my fair share of air miles. I always take advantage of long layovers or extended my travel stays to explore the special places of this world too. Fortunate my employer allows us to retain our travel points for personal use. However you take layovers to a whole other world and I love it. Your personality is infectiously positive and fun look forward to each posting. A moment of silent recognition to your mentor and friend. Thanks for sharing your special places,

I’m sorry for your loss. And although you don’t know me from a can of beans I want you to know I’m working hard towards my commercial rating and your videos have got me through some dark times. Last week I had a flight home for a family emergency and it was your longest domestic flight video that took just enough off my mind to unwind. But there’s many more so thank you and me and my daughter look forward to the next one!

So sorry to hear about your friend and mentor Neil. No doubt we all have someone like Neil that guided us, maybe without us even knowing. I have had several of those people in my 40 year IT career. My first one....without revealing his name...GCP....this one is for you! Thanks for being my first boss and best boss as well as a friend/mentor! Will he ever see this post? Wow! The N number 58101 or nose number 101 is the first 757 Continental Airlines purchased back in the early 1990's. I've taxied this plane. I worked for Continental then and United now. Tech ops. I'm always on the look out for this plane and it holds great memories for myself. I enjoy your videos.

They’re from a Minnesota company called Alclair. I have a pair of Bose that I like but they’re hard to edit with because of the delay, and when you bounce between an iPhone, computer, and airplane monitor, it’s tough to do that quickly with Bluetooth headphones.

Question. Why doesn't the airline you work for arrange for you to get to your base and home? Menaing why do you have to do it? Why not just plan the whole trip?

Because it’s my choice to live outside of the base.
