Both Selim and Serra could benefit from a therapist : Serra is afraid of being really vulnerable and she is a bit missing in the emotional department,her father was absent,he wasn't there to show love,she has became tough and she thinks she has to be strong all the time. Selim on the other hand needs a lot of affection,he needs word of affection,he needs to hear it regularly.This need makes him put a lot of expectations on people and he ends up being hurt because he expects too much.

1:48:34 Selim showed up at Serra's door, just as when Burak did it Serra was surprised, Nilgun invited him in, just like she had done with Burak. The big difference is exactly at 1,48,34 Selim looks for permission and approval from Serra first before he accept the invitation. What did Burak do? Even though Serra was visibly angry and protested to him following her and being there, he accepted Nilgun invitation, walked in, and sat at her table. We can tell who is the predator, and why Serra loves Selim. 1:30:50 UFF Smiles on the faces of Barbo, Zeynap and Nazli shows who are their real friends and also shows the difference between Burak and Barbaros. Serra's intuitions about the weird Burak was right from the beginning. Barbo stated by being attracted to her and even followed her a bit, but when he realised she loved Selim he backed off and now he is happy to see them happy. One is obsessed and one was attracted to her. 55:25 A huge turning point for Selim wanting to heal and willing to start therapy again to make himself better for his love. The difference is that last time his father forced him to go but this time he is willing to do it as her realised that taking treatment is his only way to be with Serra. Now that Serra knows about his self-harming, there is not much hidden and he wants to be better for her, the only other person, beside his grandmother, that he loves. Burak wanted to hit him in the back again, when he took Serra to his secret fight, but in fact he did Selim and Serra a favor and this evil action of Burak has brought them closer to each other. BTW Self harming is not wanting to die. The simplified explanation for it is, that when person's pain become unbearable, when the person's life feels out of control , self-harming gives the person psychological control over their chaotic life. Some people cut themselves and Selim goes to fights to get beaten. In this fight, we saw that even though he is good at fighting, he was motioning to his opponent to hit him. This is very different from suicide . We can explain it in a simplified manner as person giving themselves some pain to numb their bigger and deeper pain inside. 1:30:06 This love starved kid , Selim is so broken that Serra's little😘 kiss on the cheek made him feel so much better and assured him that she loves him. He had already taken step to make himself better for Serra but this little kiss made a huge difference in him to trust Serra's love after all she had gone through with him. No our guy is making huge mature decisions❤️ for his future.👍

In the movie, Biricik was diagnosed with severe bolemia, i think it is one of the factor that made her looked bad. I love every actor's flaws, i even love Asena despite being one of Selim's antagonist in the eye of his father (Ihsan). I respect your thoughts. I long for episode 13.

Biricik gather all her nerves hearing it from Selim. I think that is what love meant for her. She love Selim even if it hurts. I find glow in Burak's eyes after being picked up by Biricik. I hope love flourish both between Burak and Biricik.

21:55 Biricik " I love first Selim then myself" WRONG WRONG WRONG. If a person does not love themselves they are not able to love another in the true sense of love. This applies to any kind of love. How could a mother who doesn't love herself love her children? When Nil and Onur saw Serra at the door, anyone else would let them go up and see Selim with Biricik but she protected her love and told them he was sleep. This is a sign and the obvious difference between love and obsession. Real love regardless of him being with someone else is still love and protects but obsession will hurt if the one they are obsessed with is with another person. We have seen it with Burak here and with Emir in Kara Sevda and with Zuhal in Emanet and many more.

I seriously can't stand Biricik. First, she does everything she can to keep Serra and Selim apart (making up lies about how she needs his help while she also continues to insult and mock Serra.) She secretly installs a camera on his laptop to spy on him which is a huge violation of his privacy. Now, she keeps on telling him she loves him even though she knows he doesn't want or love her back. Her "advice" to Serra was actually supposed to backfire. She didn't think Serra and Selim would get back together. Her lowest moment was meeting with Ihsan and slandering Serra and her mother with lies. She blames Serra for Selim's self harm, but she's the one enabling it by paying those men and "supporting" him while he does it. In contrast, Serra took Selim's hand and went to support him when he went to therapy. Biricik's version of "love" is toxic. She's obsessed beyond reason. If she truly loved Selim, she would respect him and let him be with Serra. She calls Serra selfish, but everything she does IS selfish.

Biricik's love is a sick love. She has a sickness called "Obsessive Love Disorder" they use it almost in every series. They have mixed some truth in there, so what she says does sounds good to some people, but the reality is that that statement is missing an important part. What they missed to say is "Love a person that way if he/she loves you that way too" Love is a two way street. When it is that obsessive and one sided, then it is sickness. Selim and Biricik had a relationship at some point in the past but it did not work and they broke up. He moved on but she got stuck there and became obsessed. That advise worked well in Serra's and Selim's case because they both loved each other but Serra needed to open up to Selim which she did in the end. I am guessing you had not met the right person to be able to love with trust. don't be so hard on yourself.

So Biricik and Selim had relationship before I thought they are only close friends tho their skinship is something. I’m new to this Turkish series after seeing it on tiktok. I don’t really watch dramas now it’s been a year after watching Chinese series - The Untamed which made me hard to move on lol so I indulged myself on mangas and danmei :D

Yes they were involved for a short while long time ago but Selim did not like it and broke up. I think it came up in a conversation between Serra and Selim once. I tried to watch one chinese series but for some reason the sound on it was not good so it was not pleasant to watch but I have seen a few Thai series and I loved them. I "The Untamed " a chinese series and are Nangas and Danmei characters? I am watching a lot of Turkish series as I am learning the culture and the language plus theri food and enjoy their music as well.

I have seen comments saying she is wife material but I feel she does have good qualities but she is in love with the idea of Salim. Also love a person as they are need not always be healthy in the long run. If it's extreme negativity someone has got to change. But I do agree Serra had to open up more. Serra would call out bs of Salim but don't think birick would do it. The subs sometimes doesn't make much sense. Pronoun changes..I think it's incomplete.

We see Serra is the one who encourage him to seek counselling. That is the real love. To be tough and to be honest. About subtitles. It is done by a program (I believe) The program does not know the difference between Turkish grammar and English grammar. So it translates Turkish with English grammar rules LOL. But after seeing selim in fighting ring and having a nightmare/dream about her brother telling her not to part with selim same way as elif had parted with her brother which eventually led to brother's suicide. The nightmare and then nilgun's words about fighting for love made Serra change her mind. It was her way of seeing that its not over yet.
