In addition to taking care of her mother, Serra works in a luxury hotel and studies at a private university on a scholarship; Despite his young age, he had to take on great responsibilities. Selim, the heir apparent of the wealthy Kutlusay Family, who is studying at the same university, receives criticism from his family, especially his father İhsan Kutlusay, for his indifference to his studies and his fondness for entertainment.
Serra, who is trying to get out of work and catch up with class, goes to school by limousine as a result of an incident at the hotel, causing all eyes to be on her. While Serra's fame spreads rapidly at school, their accidental meeting with Selim will completely change the lives of both of them.

This is the first show where I see the main characters dealing with mental issues which mirrors the reality of the world. We live in a fallen world having to deal with childhood traumas and societal expectations etc. This is not just a romantic series. Kudos to the makers for putting this together 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

They filled the little boys' and girls' head with garbage like "boys don't cry" "be a man" "take all the loads of all kinds of problems on your shoulders because you are a man". and "She is a woman so she is weak and always needs help and it is your responsibility to do it for her." These are all wrong ideas that they filled our heads with. People are people may be some physical differences but everyone is made of flesh and blood . Everyone needs needs to be able to cry when they have pain inside . Everyone should be able to express what they feel inside (in a safe way to themselves and to others). No one's gender should dictate how they should be feeling and reacting to pain. I agree with you 100% Serra is not responsible for Selim and she has her own wounds to heal. Also Selim has deep wounds from his childhood and as an adult he has been abused again. I think a happy union is that of two people independent who do not need the other one to stand up. This two both need therapy in order to succeed to have happy life together.

So obviously, Asena was trying to lobby her current position as wife and later use her pregnancy or her child to have a better financial future if something happens to her husband, as shown from the other previous episodes. And also, she portrayed as a gold digger, former model with losing career so what's better way to end up with but to catched a wealthy old husband. She even sold the one pair of earrings of her daughter-in-law. If you have a good intention or personality, would you do that?

She then again wanted to check on his hand, which was bleeding, and wanted to make sure they don't stain the carpet while doing that. So, what's wrong with trying not to mess the carpet? Thus diesnt mean that she doesnt care about him. Even our mothers do the same thing in real life. The people who are judging Serra need to understand she's not used to opening up her heart to anyone, other than her mother, who still betrays her from time to time. She's lived a tough life and had to grow a tougher exterior to protect herself. I mean she's watched so many of her loved ones walk out of her life. Also Selim shouldn't rely on another person to make him happy. You should learn to love yourself before loving someone else. He began to become too dependant on Serra to be some kind of emotional support. As a person who doesn’t have a mother too, somehow i feel selim too, he feels so lonely in his own house, even there’s his full family, but though, his dad’s always blames him, saying that he couldn’t protect the ones that he loves, i mean, dude, come on, his dad was Cheating on his mom while his mom was laying sick on bed, and now selim must live in a house where the woman who cheated on his dad with, i couldn’t imagine how hard selim’s life is, if i were serra, i would always tell selim how precious and important he is in serra’s life , so that selim doesn’t’ feel unloved

yes thisssss is so true. But then again all the trauma that Serra has gone through as well, her growing up believe that all men will offend and lie to you and then proceed to leave you. The two clearly do love each other very much but its their traumatic past that creates barriers between them which triggers other traumas. What are we going to find out in later episodes i wonder
