it's from 1999..... just an recent add on her channel... no whatever...The single "Désobéissance" from the last studio released album is very good, there is also a recent add on KZbin by a fan : "Histoire de Fesse..." LIVE 2019 (extract of the official video, you can realize obviously via sound or cut if it's produced by Mylene or just a fan vid) That's what she sounds now ! My first thought, honestly, was 'Oh no, not Mylène again...' - I had seen several of her performances with different reactors I somehow felt 'obliged' to follow (wouldn't usually watch a Mylène video...), and though I must admit there's 'something' about her, and the production is always stunning, still there always, for me, was something annoying about her, the electronically overloaded beats maybe, the lack of swing, just not my kind of music... - however, as it is you, I thought I might watch this and give her yet another chance, and what shall I say, once you stopped talking and hit that play button i was totally spellbound and captivated and fascinated and thrilled - it is still not 'music' I'd put on an audio playlist for when I'd just want to listen to music, but as an audio-visual content for when I want to watch a movie this is something I might watch again, the visual artwork in this was amazing! It is as if every single still from this video might be a picture in an art gallery among Rembrandt and Caravaggio and Goya and Hieronymus Bosch... as a video this certainly is a masterpiece, and the music and her voice went along very well - couldn't sing or hum a single line from that 'song' now... - maybe that's my main problem with her, her performances don't seem to be actual 'songs', there's nothing to remain in my musical memory once she finished, no melody to sing in the garden or while doing dishes... - that's no critique of her, I'm just trying to examine and nail it down what holds me back from really loving Mylène... I'd say her content for me does not fall in the category 'Song' in the first place - but this was certainly great 'entertainment' or 'multimedia arts' or whatever and I enjoyed it from start to finish, hauntingly beautiful as we say... ❤- thanks for exposing me to things I'd not actively search for and finding a way to make me watch them... good job!

This music video is from 1999 by a Chinese filmmaker and is not my favorite of her. City of love and I make you love you are clearly superior musically and visually. Know that Mylène Farmer has for more than 35 years an army of fans for her. In October, she sold almost 500,000 tickets for her tour which only starts in July 2023. Personally, I don't know of any other artist in the world who could sell so many tickets almost 2 years in advance, without promotion, without interview, without news. album in 2021 ... Fans threw themselves into the market knowing the potential pandemic risks in 2 years .... For most fans, Mylène Farmer is like a religion ... it's like their goddess ... Mylène Farmer is much more than music ... it's a unique universe ...

@@litogor , thanks for the suggestions, maybe I'll watch them, maybe together with Sandra, whenever she feels it is time to react on Mylène again (and I'm quite sure she will...) - I know all those facts about her career and her fanbase, as I said I watched several of her performances, suggested by fans to my favorite reactors, and I've read a lot of comments telling all these stories... - Look, let's compare it to visual arts / fine arts: You have like Goya, Bosch, Picasso, Dürer, Michaelangelo, Cézanne, Van Gogh and hundreds of others, all of whom are great and influential artists according to international expertise and common sense - yet there will be some painters and paintings you'll love more than others... it's just a matter of taste! I really tried to express my opinion in a respectful way and admitted to her great artistry, I just tried to explore into the reasons why she doesn't grab me all the same... to put it simple: lack of jazz (for me, just for me...) - a third person cannot make one person love another, can they? They may help discover, but love itself has to grow between the two of them... - in the same way I'm sure I cannot take away from your love for Mylène (and I don't want to either...). But as this is a discussion about music I feel free to express what I feel. I liked the video, I don't love her music (and doubt I ever will). And if I say I don't love her doesn't mean I hate her. There's just others I prefer listening to... - have a great day anyway, my anyone be happy with the music they love! Peace man!
