@@sethdavis3046 You know what? The Raiders have just enough pieces that if they get a QB, CB & RB they're contenders. I don't know about CB; This coming draft seems poor in a lot. Why not trade picks in it for what they need? & with Tyreek & Garrett Wilson wanting out of their teams, this would be the year to trade picks for real needs - had the Raiders not stupidly fired their GM & also hired Pete "Always Under-Performs" Carroll. Didn't the Seahawks have a faster collapse than the Eagles under his watch in '23? Anyhow, the new Geno Smith/Sam Darnold they could get is clearly Fields. After he called out his coaches they used different plays & averaged 31 ppg with Darnell Mooney & Chase Claypool as top WRs. This year he made The Best highlight reel passes weeks 2 & 3. It isn't often passes cancelled by penalties make the highlight reels, he did it 3 times in 2 weeks. So we know he's still got it & only play-calling is holding him back. If the Raiders got him, one of the available high-end WRs who get open & can stretch the field & play-calling that uses the abilities of these guys. total revamp. Go for CB & whatever else they need in the draft or trades, or wait a year. If you can't fix everything, fix either the O or D, then you have a better idea of what you need. But I'm really low on the Carroll signing. If you want to get the best out of a QB, sign Doug Pederson to no more than 2 years & have him prove himself. Carroll is known for coddling those who need it. I don't think that'll mesh well with Crosby.

​@@brendanconnelly1835depends on the length of the contract...Carter doesnt get one for 3 more year, DeJean and Q are locked in for the next 4. Nakobe and JD are the only guys up for next contracts on the defense and neither one will break the bank. So we got Sweat, Milton Williams, and Baun as free agents on defense this year. Most likely they will keep Baun. But they could almost definitely afford Miles Garrett for at least the next 3 years. Past that, probably not because they got some blue chip guys they need to keep. But that defense is so cheap atm....adding a star to it wouldnt be an isssue, esspecually with Sweat and BGs money getting freed up.

Lions can easily trade away their 1st and both 3rd round picks they just got for their DC being hired and it’s like they only really gave up their 1st Garrett fits the window to win for the next 2 years and will come off the books in perfect time for the young guys in Detroit to get paid. Injuries to the defence is really what screwed the lions this year and with Hutch and Garrett both rushing the passer next year they are gonna be both an offensive and defensive juggernaut
