This was a great interview with interesting questions. I love that you didn’t ask the same things everyone else asks. You let the artist speak which was really cool. Also you’re pretty asf 💛

This was by far the best most entertaining interview I have seen having watched dozens of interviews of of metal/rock musicians! Great questions and I liked the fact the questions were fun and not typical cliché questions which are so overdone! Great job!

With regard to the question of how rock is faring these days ( 4:11 ) , I strongly disagree that streaming services have anything to do with rock being so "underground" in the current climate. it's the marketing side of the industry that's trying to kill rock (or any musicians trying to experiment or flex their creative musculature). It's cheaper to produce basic, easily digestible music (i.e. music based on simple, catchy rhythms and surface level, easily understood lyrics) alongside a shallow, attractive persona, and it's far easier to sell this kind of music to a population who's completely unaware of the deeper levels of musical appreciation, hence why even disco queens from the 70s had to retain some form of artistic integrity to compete with the likes of Zeppelin and Pink Floyd (two bands who were given proper radio time and general marketing). Streaming services are a significant reason why rock is still able to flourish to even the extent that it does today; for precisely the reason that Myles put forward here. People who are more musically inclined can explore music without a constant paywall deterring them at every step. I'd have never discovered Alter Bridge if it weren't for KZbin in particular, and I guarantee my life would be worse off for it.

Love Myles Kennedy, but the interviewer was fantastic, she didn't do the same questions everyone has already heard a million times, she was great, was like they were just 2 people having a conversation in a coffee shop. Kudos Poland, y'all got great journalists

I liked all of Myles’s answers except Billie Eilish as best female vocalist out there. I know she’s really popular right now but I just don’t get it. Her voice kinda irritates me!

And now think logically, who understands better who is the great vocalist - you or Myles???

Helen Hunt It’s not a question of “understanding “‘. it’s about individual opinions /preferences and how music speaks to the listener. I’m just expressing my opinion
