I always like the light that comes into an Airstream. More outside light comes in through the panoramic windows.

I'm not normally a fan of Airstream because I never cared for the feel of living in a tin can. However, I do like this one and it doesn't seem so closed in. Thanks for sharing.

The Flying Cloud is the best! No power awning. Regular shades. Not a bunch of frew, frew to not function properly. We have had 2 new Airstreams. First a 2017 International 23D, second and currently own a 2019 Flying Cloud 25' Rear Bed twin. Simple, stylish, no power awning, regular 6 gallon water heater, no power shades. Just works perfect. Over 500 nights and so far everything works as it is supposed to. Pulls great and wherever we go people always want to take a peek at our Airstream. Back in April, 2019 paid $71k out the door. Fantastic value!!

Love the simplicity and classic style of the Airstream, not to mention ease of towing and safety. Definitely loved the color scheme.

Just purchased this exact one yesterday. Super excited. We will be pulling it with our 2023 tundra. This model will keep you within 80% of your max towing capacity so it won’t be an issue with the new Tundra. Thanks for the video.

Loving the Airstream videos. Next time you head to Elkhart, stop in Jackson Center, OH for a factory tour if you haven’t already.

We bought a brand new 2020 Classic. Kept a year… nothing but constant problems and defects. First trip after we bought it to Colorado, the sink was not secured properly and it dropped 5” from the countertop which caused water leaks. Had to cut trip short. As nice as it looked, it was at the dealership for repairs more than we ever had the chance to use. The service department was incredibly slow at making under warranty repairs. Sold it back to the dealer in 2021. I wonder if there are quality issues with Airstreams or if we just got a lemon. Regardless, our experience with this brand was pretty bad.

Not a fan of airstream. I think they're nice but the price while worth it in most cases is just too expensive
@CD-lx6sc8 ай бұрын
I honestly don't think they're worth it. Used to be that they had a major weight advantage over their competitors but nowadays they don't. In fact I think on average in their size classes, they are heavier today. So essentially they have no real advantage over their competitors and their price is just insane. They are doing what alot of companies do in all industries, capitalize on their name.

I agree with the other comment. I love the look but it isn’t worth the price they’re asking for them.

Awesome RV, a bit pricey but worth it if it lasts and is trouble free!

That is a very nice looking airstream. Don’t they make one that has bunk beds? I’m not sure which model has them but can you do a video of that one?😊

I’m seeing a lot of airstream owners claiming 15-35% off msrp right now. Is that accurate?

The Basecamp could have been so much better. The too small rear door and weak-sauce electrical system are holding it back.

Airstreams look nice, but what you get for the price point, they really are not worth it. It's funny, you mention "it's all in the details" multiple times, because I'm one that does notice the details. For example, the blackout shades in the front, have gaps, so they won't work as blackout shades. Same for the shades on the skylights. Some might think they are cheaper windows, but the travel trailers with lower price points that have the window with the built in slide blackout shades and screens are much more effective at blocking out light. Another example, the large sofa is not practical for the average sized person. It extends out too much to sit comfortably and the height would leave you legs dangling. Here are few big issues at this price point. You can push the benefit of a manual awning all you want, but automatic awnings are where it's at. The manual stabilizers are another issue.

Way too many compromises for that price tag.

Anything with a deal sidewalks is better then that aluminum
@mylesrv8 ай бұрын
I would love an explanation. Azdel is the internal wall material between the inner and outer wall which are fiberglass and lauan, and I can’t see how that in any way is better than aluminum.
@nevysadventuresllc90748 ай бұрын
@@mylesrv Azdel is a super strong outer wall you can see during your reviews it says Azdel sticker on the ones that use it. It’s a waterproof and extremely strong and super light with huge R value. There is a company that makes an off road rv they demonstrate the strength by hitting it with a sledgehammer and it doesn’t even scratch it. Big truck big rv also has a video on it.

Same ugly bland colors scheme they have used for years and same ugly counter tops, they refuse to modernize their campers unless they super charge you for it.

@mylesrv Why is there no mention of God, the Bible or the Holy Spirit in your firmly umbound mission stayement? Firmly Unbound is an expression of exploration and freedom in work, play, and faith. In our work, it is our mission to explore new solutions, commit to taking chances over seeking comfort and familiarity, and know that the joys of life are just as much in the pursuit of success as they are in the achievements of success. In our play, it is our delight to explore new grounds, seek new experiences, and practice passing through the barriers of our comfort zones. In our faith, we walk with confidence and pride in our belief that we were bound to a life of sin, yet saved only through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ that firmly unbinds us from our sin, through His sacrifice. 😊
