The key in law school is learning your definitions cold. That means knowing definitions just like you know your name. Then learn how to IRAC your case briefs, and use that same approach to apply the elements of your definitions of law to the facts of your hypotheticals. NWCU is an outstanding law school and Prof. George is awesome!

No federal financial aid available. You have to pay out of pocket. That's not a bad deal, as payments are as low as $325 per month, and you graduate with little to no debt. But, if you don't want to, or can't, absorb the cost up front, then this is not the option for you. Both Concord and JFK School of Law at NCU do offer federal financial aid. Otherwise, NWCU Law is a worthwhile option - especially with the potential to earn a JD with no debt on the back end.
@RM-eu8gi3 жыл бұрын
@@ssteele1 @Sam Steele Concord is $50K tuition, JFK is $92K tuition... are you high? If you can't afford $325 a month....u have way bigger issues. @MacyySuee3 жыл бұрын
The classes are taken concurrently just like any other school would be. To prevent people from trying to do 1 class at a time (which is not how it’s meant to be) you must submit the same type of assignments for each class together. So you don’t turn case briefs in until they are done for each class and you can submit them at the same time.

When’s the best time to start so you’re learning alongside the live lectures?
@MacyySuee5 ай бұрын
I believe April and October are when new live lecture series start, but it really is not that important to determining your start date. I would recommend trying to plan your start date around when you would be taking your finals (the last 4 weeks of the program) because I personally do not want to be stressed over studying for finals around the holidays or at the start of the summer.

The school recommends you spend a minimum of 20 hours a week on schoolwork. I am a very fast reader which takes up a majority chunk of this time so I have found that I don't always have to spend that much time. Typically I spend 2-4 hours on classes on weekdays (2 hours in the morning, 2 hours in the evening) and another 8-10 hours split across the weekend (Fri-Sun)!
