Thankyou so much for making this video. I’ve had a Fitbit for months but it has remained in the box because I haven’t had the confidence to try to set it up myself as I’m a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to technology. 16:42 Here at this step you just need to pull down from the top of the screen as if you're refreshing a youtube page. Not at the very top because that will open the system notification menu. Also if this doesn't work click the button to the right of the Fitbit logo at the top of your screen then click your device e.g Fitbit Alta HR then scroll all the way down untill you see "Sync now." Also, check the box that says "All day sync" then you won't have to do this as it will do it every 10 minutes. It won't vibrate when it's syncing. Thanks for reading! I got a Fitbit already HR too and I really found this helpful I’m 11 and the Fitbit fit perfectly I have a small wrist. Kids looking for a Fitbit Alta and have tony wrists. Don’t buy a S size buy a S/P size it fits great

Hey My Mate Vince, you should logoff and relogon Fitbit app to set Bluetooth default (it already know but it just can't make connection while in Create action on other action). The app don't know what device you are using by Bluetooth when you using other device. Before finish using app, always logoff first.

I just opened my FitBit Alta HR,too! Try holding your IOS device very close to the FitBit to get the 4-digit number to display. Worked for me! Blessings

on your device (not the fitbit), turn off and then on again the WIFI. This should kick it back to set up. try it, good luck. always turn things on and off if they dont work at first

I was able to setup my Fitbit Alta HR on my iPhone using the app with no issues. I put the app on my iMac Desktop and I am unable to sync the Fitbit on it. Any ideas how to make this happen?
