Omg she was my cell mate while she was going through this. She is a wholesome, sweet lady. She's also an amazing friend. She actually helped me out while I was in there with her. I'm so proud of you, Wendy, for finally getting your story heard. I love and miss you. You're so strong and brave for doing this.

I am amazed by Wendy’s strength, this is such an important story about the impact of family courts. It truly is no place for children or parents to be in. Something needs to replace the need. Anything else would be better.

The resiliency she has and continues to show amazes me. Something needs to change. Something needs to happen so THIS doesn't continue to happen. A judge's opinion should NEVER be a part of the ruling. The facts should NEVER not be allowed to be heard. This is disgraceful.

The word “shall” in any court of law means “MUST”- it’s not a word to imply the courts can use discretion to do something. This is making me so sick to my stomach. I’m praying for you with all I got girl! You are just so damn incredible because you’re still fighting! Don’t give up! Please! 🙏🏼

This sounds terrifyingly similar to my situation in Colorado unfortunately. Still going through it. My attorney has pretty much washed her hands of my case. After my oldest was placed with her father who sexually abused her, and my husband convicted of raping me gained full custody of our son and I was ordered little to no contact with them.
